Hello all,
I'm beginning research into what's available in terms of mp3 players these days. Why?
1. I'm using iPhone and don't have enough room on my phone for everything, and there's no external storage options. Plus I've heard horror stories about iTunes yanking music out of your library, which I don't want to deal with. To be honest I'm sick of the whole Apple ecosystem for music.
2. I'm sick of the yo-yo back and forth of artists' catalogs not being on streaming, then being on there, then disappearing again. So frustrating.
SO, I want to rock it like it's 2003 again and have an MP3 player. Can anyone recommend one? I'd like it to have the following:
1. Bluetooth
2. Expandable external storage (SD or micro-SD cards you can put in it)
3. Ability to play both MP3 and FLAC files (preferable if it can do 24/96 FLAC)
The people of this forum seem incredibly tech savvy so I thought I'd see what's out there if I'm stuck with an Apple phone in my contract and can't go that route but want a large library on the go.
