These tracks sound like Quake outtakes. Where do they originate from?

2004, I think. They remastered all the Closure audio and compiled the bonus features for DVD then. It also just occurred to me that these menu items are probably some of the last things recorded in Nothing Studios, before they moved the modular rig out to L.A. (when the van carrying all those synths crashed in the desert).

Was that mixed in surround? Not just the menus obviously, but the whole show.

Nah, the show is just a cleaned up stereo mix from the original. Perhaps they could have done surround if Interscope said yes and they magically got a budget.

Does anyone know what desert they crashed in? That would have been in early 2005, I'm guessing?
