"No one is intending to hurt anyone" doesn't count for much. What's important is that if despite intentions, behavior is called out as something that's detrimental to the community as a whole, you react in a way to reduce that detriment. The internet's a much larger place now, and people who want to go be little shits have much larger more popular less regulated forums where they can do that.

Overclockers.com is a pretty legit computer hardware forums. Really nice people and a good resource for overclocking and general computer stuffs. Otherwise I have an old gaming community I follow yet even though it's all mostly moved to teh fb group.

forum.nin.com is my main one, for those who only post at ETS.

I'm also on-and-off at theopethforum.com (successor to the late opethforum.com, which itself was created in response to the official Opeth forum [at Ultimate Metal] being temporarily closed in 2005, then permanently in 2009).

Was also on-and-off at the late allmetalforums.com, which was essentially a metal version of 4chan with light moderation.

I sometimes still visit the NIN.com forums, but very rarely these days. I also haven't been to most of these in a while either, but I still thought that they'd be worth mentioning. (Some of them have already been mentioned though, but I suppose they can still fit into this thread, and had it existed, I would've most likely made do with this one.)

I also haven't really posted in most of these as it's hard enough to keep up with one or two forums, but as I've said, they still seemed to be worth mentioning. (As as the thread title states, I suppose visit doesn't have to mean post anyway.)

http://www.providermodule.com/ - As most of you know by now, a forum dedicated to Marilyn Manson. It's also a Marilyn Manson fan site and a news site as well.

http://www.limpbizkit.org/ - A Limp Bizkit forum that's owned by http://www.thearmpit.net/, which is also a Limp Bizkit fan site and news site.

http://www.nohomers.net/ - What appears to be the ultimate forum and overall web source for The Simpsons. I'd highly recommend any long-term and/or hardcore fans of The Simpsons to join The No Homers Club.

http://www.thetechnodrome.com/ - I also shared this in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles thread. It seems to be the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles forum and site to visit.

http://www.starfox-online.net/ - For any other Star Fox fans out there, this place is for you. I also certainly look forward to seeing the overall activity over there if/when the new Star Fox game actually comes out this year too. They're also very organized but in a different way, as old threads get locked simply for being old even if they're on topic. Discussions that incite debate are often discouraged as well.

http://www.thethinkingatheist.com/ - This forum actually caught my attention through YouTube, as they also have a YouTube channel which become one of the several atheist YouTube channels I happen to follow. It welcomes more than just atheists, but if you're an atheist, then this is one of the several atheist forums to visit.

I'd also highly recommend Zelda Universe and Zelda Dungeon to any huge fans of The Legend of Zelda as well. I can't seem to select one over the other though as both sites and forums seem to be very thorough and legit.

http://www.lpassociation.com/ - Considering how there are several fans of Linkin Park fans here, and how several Linkin Park forums have come and gone, Linkin Park Association has certainly stood the test of time. They also still seem to keep their pages of threads per section limited to one page each. The older threads still exist, but once they sink low enough, they're no longer visible.

http://pb4pb.boards.net/ - This is the closest thing to a Ministry forum as of now, as most of the members on it were actually from the official Piss Army forum. From my understanding, it's actually supposed to be a Paul Barker forum. They also had an actual .com site for PB4PB, but it got shut down.

http://www.sbmania.net/ - A SpongeBob SquarePants site and forum so well done that it actually looks like it was owned by Nickelodeon itself.

http://www.full-house.org/ - I wish it had more sections, but I couldn't find a better Full House forum so far.

http://www.seinology.com/ - There hasn't been that much activity on this site since the late 2000s and early 2010s, but I also still have yet to find a better Seinfeld forum. They probably could've used more sections outside of Seinfeld as well.
