View Full Version : The Texas Panhandle (probably imaginary) meet up

So i have lived in my ancestral home of Stratford Tx for going on two years now, ever since i got in the wreck that nearly killed me and made me unable to work.

I've spent most of my life in dallas and have a massive network of friends there. I have literally NO friends in stratford...that's part of why i spend so much time on ETS.

SO

Does anyone else here live in the texas or oklahoma panhandle?
What i need, mostly, is like minded people with whom i can make music.

And if you don't play music, we can at least car pool to future NIN/HTDA events (if i'm still here.)

This is a pretty fucking desolate part of the country so i'm afraid that i'm the only one here, but i've got my fingers crossed.

I went through Amarillo on my drive back to the Midwest. That was my first time in Texas in a long time.

Your governor should be running as a centrist democrat.

I wish there were more ets folk around here. Alrea and i went to the same show in Tulsa (he lives in Kansas) in 08, but we were both fairly new to the board and didn't even find each other at the show.

I BET i could organize a dallas meetup, but as far as the panhandle goes, i'm starting to seriously think it's just me (i've been back here for 3 years.)
I've met some pretty fucking rabid nin fanatics but no one seems to know about ets
