This is another franchise that I haven't really caught up with in quite a while, but I still managed to get and beat Donkey Kong Country Returns. Donkey Kong Country, Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy Kong's Quest and Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble were a huge part of my childhood as a gamer. I also got into Donkey Kong Land, Donkey Kong Land 2 and Donkey Kong Land 3. However, like other games in my collection over the 1990s, I lost some of them from other students borrowing them and never returning them. I was still able to get some of them back into my collection though.
As for the older Donkey Kong games, I got to play original Donkey Kong and the remake on the Game Boy. I hardly played Donkey Kong Junior and Donkey Kong 3 though, as I never owned an NES, but got to at least play it a few times at a friend's house that did. It unfortunately wasn't working that well at the time though.
