hi all
my band released their 6 song EP, mastered by gavin lurssen, who did the last QOTSA album (among numerous other things).

after years of making music on my own or where I was the person "in charge," it has been an interesting experience to make music as part of a collective in which I didn't get to have the final say on stuff. As a result, I have sort of mixed feelings on the results but the more I think on that the more I think that is healthy, because that means I was challenged and challenged myself. Ultimately, I think it's interesting and has something to say. I hope you enjoy, and if you're in NYC, come check us out whenever we go play.

I'm happy to talk tech about the production to anyone who is interested :-)

things are sort of in the air right now -- we may or may not be getting some sort of distribution deal, and regardless we have to kind of figure out what makes sense given that we're not functioning as a live group at the moment (of all the times for the drummer to break his finger...)

not on that track -- on that track I'm playing (moog) bass, keys, and did drums and programming, and overall production
