So, I feel like this is the place where I don't have to explain what I did, you guys will get it.

I made this:

Really appreciate what you're doing. I know it's not everyone's favorite song, but are you going to do "Only"? For whatever reason that song has had the best visuals over the past decade. :)

Yes I believe that's my next one on the list. I just need an HD version from BYIT - an extract from my DVD won't quite suffice that.

A certain bay for pirates has a bluray rip, if you wanna go that route.

I intend to keep doing the videos, as long as people are interested in viewing/sharing them. The first few were done for myself, really, but seeing them make the rounds motivates me to do more.

Reptile might be another good candidate. Not a lot of visuals, but some interesting lighting designs.

Reviving this thread to ask: anyone know any decent footage of Terrible Lie from pre-TDS tours? I know it's hard, but I've scoured YouTube and everything looks horribly compressed.

This is probably your best bet:

If you want the best quality, download the Closure DVD and rip it from there, rather than ripping it from YouTube.
And since the video is a compilation of multiple shows, it might give you enough coverage of that era for your project. Honestly, since there wasn't much stage production in those days, one show looks pretty much like any other.

Thanks. I'd honestly forgotten the Closure DVD had some full songs.

I'll end up skipping footage from the PHM tour, because, like you said, the stage production wasn't all that noteworthy. The fact that the footage was subpar also distracts from the overall tone of the video.

Speaking of Closure, those are some unusual editing choices, huh?

Finally, here's the video for Terrible Lie. If you could share this with other NIN fans, that'd be cool =)

This time with Terrible Lie less visuals, more performance. Multi-faceted with all the different band members over the years.

By the way a great idea with this string of videos! And a hell of a lot work!

Somewhat Damaged could be great to see. It's been done long enough that there's a real wealth of footage, the Fragility tour version up through last year, and there's been a lot of neat variation both in sound and visuals. There was that caged version in, what, 2005? 2006? And then the Tension version played with light really heavily, and Ilan getting rolled out on drums on the 2014 NA tour alone is worth including. There'd be so much variety to pick from, it could be a strong one.

I was planning on doing that next, but found no decent footage of that from the Fragility tour. If anyone has something I don't, please, point me in the right direction.
