So after being a hard head and mainly ignoring this title and writing it off, I'm glad to see I was foolish in thinking as much. Watching E3 footage along with delving more into this (and loving the past Left 4 Dead titles) I definitely going to be getting this game. It's shaping up to be great fun and rather unique.

Yes! I was sold on this game and THEN they spoiled the kraken which, aside from being a Cthulhu tentacle monster, looks fun and unique to play as.

Lots of good creative energy on Display with this game.

The game was kinda under my radar and I really didn't think all too much of it, I'm glad the E3 demo changed my mind. Gameplay looks tight. I wonder how each Monster will handle. The Kraken looks cool but looks hard to control after watching comparison gameplay of both that and the Goliath.

I don't think this has anything with quality or being complete. I think minus some small polish, this is mostly due to being a new FPS IP smack dab in the middle of a big game release train and being sandwiched between both Destiny and the cash cow Call of Duty. It'll get more sales in Feb due to this.

Register for the alpha. What was once going to only feature an Xbox One only beta became an alpha for everyone to play. Xbox gets access October 30th through November 2nd, while PC and PS4 get it from the Oct 31st and Nov 2nd.

Yeah, the Monster has a steep learning curve. The servers were also garbage just about all day when I played so it was hard to play a match when I even managed to get in one. I'll try again tomorrow.

I'm not a huge fan of them but I've adjusted. As for the game, it doesn't seem that balanced to me at the moment. Every match I've played either has the team being absolute trash and losing immediately or the Monster dying super quick. made for lackluster gameplay. We'll see. Beta is coming in January I believe.

I think... I'm going to cancel my preorder. This whole experience was just bad. So sad, too because the premise is strong but the execution is awful and no fun at all. I was desperate to play as the Kraken, but I didn't have the patience or stomach to tough it out to earn the right to play as it.

lots of counterintuitive design, control styles. SO MUCH WAITING AND DOING NOTHING. I've been in matches where the monster and the team just don't find each other. And the matchmaking takes forever. I finally gave up when I backed out of a fifteen minute matchmaking only to be told I would have to wait to re-enter. Ok, then, I just won't play.

Yeah, I really think this game has potential and sounds good but the gameplay and time I've spent with it is disappointing. I'm not feeling it at all. I probably won't get this at all, unless the beta changes my mind.

it IS starting to grow on me a bit. I just orbital barraged on MYSELF as the monster charged me, and killed it by taking half it's health. that seems like a REALLY broken play.

Different modes, how you do on map 1 determines certain features that will be in the next part of the story on map 2, etc. Pretty interesting.

I chose not to buy this game based on imoressions, but i was going to tough it out until i saw the grind and that you could buy your way past the grind by preordering.

I heard that the math of the total of dlc was off, it comes out 60 and change, which is still not acceptable. I didn't really like it playing from beta so I passed.

Yeah, they are but at least they got the solid gameplay and fun competitive aspect to make it more acceptable, though still not truly fair or worthwhile overall. I love fighting games. :p

My friend got me a copy of the game when he bought his today cuz he wanted someone to play it with I didn't necessarily want it but whatever. I've only played a few games but honestly it was maybe a bit better than I expected. I think the concept is kinda interesting and it was kinda fun I mean I don't know how long it will hold my interest considering I have a back log of games I am trying to get rid off at the moment but like I told him I could see myself playing this with him when I need a break from those other games or for a multiplayer fix. No ready to rate the game yet since I have barely cracked the surface of it but not too bad so far. I don't think I could be the monster though played the tutorial and a practice match and sucked at it lol.
