Very good show. Audience was slightly dead (common for Danish shows), but Trent commented that we were "alright". He was probably sarcastic, but he seemed into it so who knows?

I didn't note the complete setlist, but we did get Reptile, Eraser and Closer (where the first couple of measures in the breakdown fucked up so we lost out on the first bit of the The Only Time melody). I filmed the two latter with my phone. Letting You is another oddity I remember. Nothing special apart from that as far as I can tell, though I treasured that we got SICNH in the place of Piggy...

Was it printed on a set list? I noticed on Setlist.fm it was there, but I removed it.

Also, I've seen that "Pinion" is usually paired with "Eater of Dreams" as the intro music, but I didn't hear "Pinion" at all last night.

I have no idea. Too far away from the stage to have any chance to grab a setlist. Just noticed Ryan posted the setlist.fm setlist earlier and wanted to correct it.

Pinion was definitely there, but the acoustics in Forum may have made it harder to hear. Generally, the venue has an awful reputation when it comes to sonics. It's very much a "depends where you're standing"-type venue. From where I was standing, NIN sounded surprisingly good last night, but TDTWWA fell victim to the sound problems. Those heavy guitars turned into a barrage of noise. Might explain the "absence" of Pinion.

Ah, ok. Yeah, I thought they sounded great. It was my second time seeing a show at Forum and I definitely am not impressed with the acoustics. I know Vega is way too small for NIN, but it would have been amazing there. I've been to tons of US venues and Vega surpasses so many of them with its superior acoustics.

Also, have to say I was extremely unimpressed by Cold Cave. And the lead singer is from where I live when I'm in the US. :(

Agreed. I hear Vega '07 was a great show.

I thought Cold Cave got progressively better as they went along. Last two songs or so were quite catchy. Before those, I thought they were pretty boring. A dead girl who plays keyboard chords and a guy who thinks he's Gary Numan. But I must stress that I HAVE seen worse!

Ok, I am baffled by the above posts.

This was my ninth show and also the best. Everything was perfect, the energy from the crowd (I was second row and people were going CRAZY), the energy from the band, the setlist, the lightshow. Trent was visibly pleased and called us a "great crowd". If this is the last show I'll see from NIN I'd be ok with it. Can't see how it could've been any better. Perfection!

I also really liked Cold Cave and will for sure catch any upcoming shows of theirs. Very 80s goth.

Maybe I got the wrong impression of the crowd from where I was standing. Glad to hear that may be the case! Regardless, I do think it was a shame that NIN were playing on a Tuesday. Most people in the crowd probably had to get up early the next morning. The crowd would probably have been even more animated had the gig been on a Friday or Saturday.

Both show kicked ass. People here who live in Europe and still don't have tickets should buy one, because the whole thing is so different to the 2013 shows.

The show was great! I was second row, right in front of Trent. And the sound was good too. It was my first gig so close to the stage.

But, to be honest, I was not really that impressed by the lights/screen for this particular show.
I mean, it was cool, and I waited 5 years to see NIN with that huge LED screen. But it seemed too static to me, and visuals were not that elaborate for the songs in that setlist.

I absolutely loved the production they did for the festivals last year, and for some songs I believe that stage design was even superior to Tension - even though I didn't have the chance to go to the US so I cannot really say. It's difficult to explain to people who didn't have the chance to witness a festival show, but the fact that the screens could move around the stage in every angle and direction, opening/closing, hiding instruments (and/or trent himself), diffusing light thanks to the fact that they were covered by some kind of veil (which was also used to project shadows), and also become semi-transparent when the veil was removed... well, that was dynamic and versatile. But - huge drawback - since everything had to be time-coded, I guess this wasn't that versatile after all. But still, to me the result was much more dynamic than a single screen being lifted up and down with some visuals on it, although I understand that the festivals must have been very limiting for Trent due to this timecode thing.

And in Copenhagen, since I was so close to the stage, it was very easy to notice some heavy dithering, like the screen had a limited amount of colours it could reproduce (see: http://i.imgur.com/5ckEhAq.jpg). Which shouldn't be a problem for people standing 20-30 meters away I guess, but for people close to the stage that was clearly noticeable. I'm wondering they're using the same screen they've been using in the US.

I really liked the show, but I just realized that my favorite shows so far were at Scala and in Berlin, which only had a bunch of lights and some strobe. So I don't really know what to think, maybe next time (in Zurich) I'll try to enjoy the show near the soundboard and have a different perspective. Maybe I simply was too close, like watching TV from 30 cm away.

It's a sony rx1.
Great camera, but I had a few problems bringing it into the venue as I had to demonstrate that the lens was fixed and not detachable.
The camera itself is quite expensive and fragile, and I was second row so I was not very comfortable during MOTP, wish etc and I had to protect it from all the people pushing and jumping
