I just spent £25 on socks. Sounds excessive, but look!

I've also been on a bit of a vintage haul - I've bought snoods (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/150684168522?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_500wt_1202)and a set of pyjama/stocking/make-up (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/140629847401?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_730wt_952) cases from the 30s.

I bought these in the Black Friday sale:

This from Etsy for an Elle Driver look:

And I'm currently eyeing up this:

Love that dress above. I'm trying to save money and not buy stuff lately, but I failed last night and bought two winter dresses -- and spent a shitload of money. FML. I need some sort of shopping support group. This thread won't help. :p

Looking to find a new suit, I was thinking about Calvin Klein, they have some sales going (and since I don't have that much cash). My tuxedo is too small, except for the jacket and my primary suit (all pieces) is also too small. Going to go around to a few different places though to see what I can find, I remember Macy's had some good selections but we'll see.

Finally someone made this thread.

I want a new winter jacket (yes, in december), but I can't decide which one. Maybe a Parka would be nice. Any fashion recommendations for me?

Maybe I'll just order this:

That's a nice jacket, and the fleeciness will make it super warm.

I'm desperately looking for a new black winter coat too. Thing is, I'm restricted to the Petite sections and there are only about 5 shops that do nice, interesting on-trend petite coats. And none of them are black. I have my flashy leopard print one, but I need something I can just throw on top of any outfit. This one (http://www.asos.com/ASOS/ASOS-PETITE-Exclusive-Military-Coat/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=1704370&cid=8353&sh=0&pge=1&pgesize=20&sort=-1&clr=Navy) from ASOS is PERFECT, but they only have it in navy. Also, coats are fucking expensive this year.

The best time to buy a coat is off-season.

If anyone can tell me where I can buy this coat, I would be must obliged!

I looked and I looked and I couldn't find opaque black seamed tights anywhere for you, icklekitty.

BUT I did find some incredibly fucking ugly hosiery:

EEEEEEWWWWWWWWW. Luckily, redshoewearer told me that ballet suppliers make opaque seamed tights, and the lady who managed What Katie Did suggested wearing stockings over normal tights. It's (by some miracle) not been cold enough to try it, but I'm looking forward to doing so!!

I just read on mouth taped shut that H&M is doing a salander collection? awesome, haha.

^^ Yeah, that one comes out in a few days, if I remember correctly. Some of it is pretty cool, but there's a shirt with an American flag print that I find a little confusing (I think it's under the jacket of the far right model). And I like how motorcycle-style pants look, but the detail never manages to hit my knees. :(

Speaking of: my usual site for jeans (Delia's) has been out of 36" inseams in my style for the past month. I might just write a letter begging them not to discontinue those. In the meantime, do any tall people have a rec for straight-leg women's jeans?

yeah it looks quite cool, but basically it's nothing new, the models just have a lisbeth salander makeup and earrings, that's all.. bit lame if you ask me

They're a Swedish brand, so it makes sense. I think any country that Hollywood decided to shine a spotlight on would be wise to do the same with their global brands.

Very inactive old member.
Inactive enough to not be 100% sure what my username even was...

I hope you also drink like my slutty grandma, because that would be AWESOME.

Trish Summerville, who did the costume design for Fincher's GWTDT, designed the H&M collection. I personally love that style, huge bummer there's no men collection.

Well, you can buy black leather boots, skinny cheap mondays, a worn out t-shirt and a black american apparel hoodie and there you go

This is no longer available at the vintage section of American Apparel because it now belongs to ME. I've looked at it for 4 months. I had to have it. That green is my color and I never find anything in it. It will be here in a week.
