Post your uploads in the comments and I will update this and the next post(s).
I’m not responsible for content on websites links in this post point to.
This is just a collection of material I do not own and/ or have saved in digital or any other way.
I recommend jDownloader (http://jdownloader.org/home/index?s=lng_en) to download from the different filehosters. To handle the torrents I recommend µtorrent (http://www.utorrent.com) or Transmission (http://www.transmissionbt.com).

Does anybody have the old spiral fan videos from the 2005 With_Teeth tour?

I've had a couple computers crash on me over the years, but i've always managed to save my hard-drives. I bought an old school USB HD shell that's compatible with the old 3.5" Hard-drives they had in the 90s. I plugged it in and found these videos, and other old school goodies. However my girlfriend was bothering me to go to get ready for a "christmas party" and told me to "transfer my files later". I mistakingly turned off the USB connector, not thinking anything of it, when I returned later that night, i found that my computer would no longer recoginze the device... Needless to say, I was pretty goddamn angry.

I saw that I had these videos, and I got excited, remembered how classic they were and wanted to edit them all together in a giant "with_teeth" closure type tour documentary... but now I can't seem to find any remains of these videos online, and with the spiral being shut down, i am afraid these gems are lost in the NIN archive forever!

Does this play gaplessly? I've tried using the built-in resampler with dBpoweramp for exactly this purpose before and it seems to add a "pop" in between gapless tracks (like "Lights in the Sky" and "Corona Radiata"). I ended up doing a downconversion of the whole album as one file in Adobe Audition then splitting it into 24bit WAV files before using dBpoweramp to retag and compress to ALAC.

sorry for the late reply, i've been messing around with inDesign and image pyramids for a friend all day. The only "pop" I've noticed is during Head Down towards the last 20 seconds or so. I've been using iDevices for so long, but if I remember correctly this "pop" is also on every other version as well (just checked real quick on CD version; it's there unless I'm hearing things). I've been meaning to retrack this, ghosts and HTDA but I always end up moving on to something else before I get around to it.

Although I'm an Adobe whore and usually use Audition for these things, I think I'll use Serato Scratch when I do get around to it; I love that program... Anyway, have you had a chance to listen to the "source" that I upped? Are you noticing popping? Perhaps I need to get out the big guns (switch from headphones to speakers) and give it a "proper" listen.

Edit: Also, the lame reply "have you made sure all of your codecs you used are up to date?" popped into my head, but I'm sure they are.

2nd Edit (ugh): it could have also been a problem with the way the device you were using handles gapless playback; what were/are you primarily using to listen to audio?

I had a full listen to the 24-bit version of 'The Slip' this morning that I upped the other day and did not notice anything that wasn't already in the source we got.

Interestingly enough, there's 2 not 1 pop/click in 'Head Down'; check out ~4:35.5 and ~4:45.5. Yep, they're exactly 10 seconds apart.

There's also DVD Audio Extractor. If you just want the regular stereo mix, that will work just fine, as the DVD and HD versions all contain the same lossy Dolby Digital 2-channel audio track. There's also a folded-down-to-stereo version of the high-def lossless 5.1 track floating around on the interwebs.

Hmm, I tried converting again on my end with the latest dBpoweramp "reference" version and it fixed the issue. Maybe it was a problem with the build I had used back in 2008.

alrighty, good to know. i've honestly never had any major issue with dbpoweramp (other than ones I caused myself on accident). I've been using db exclusively for about 4 years now, i use itunes once in a blue moon to "make an aac version of the file" with one click.

Yep, compiled (as I'm sure you know) on Where Darkness Doubles, Where Light Pours In.

This specific release seems to be a promo from The United Arab Emirates. I have no clue if the release is actually lossless sourced though. I've seen "lossless" copies of this on the internet throughout the years but none of them passed the "lossless" test

As far as I know this is only available digitally in mp3 V2 (Hurt is higher than 128)

I forgot about that, I need to get out that NIN harddrive from the back of the closet :).

They have a "lossless" version of that specific recording on dimeadozen.org also if I remember correctly (which apparently my memory is crap lately).

Here is the "Where Darkness Doubles, Where Light Pours In" rip, it has album art with it too; I'll work on finding the rest of the sessions in 320 unless someone else does first.

Both Hurt and Non-Entity were available for purchase via Sony's now defunct Connect (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sony_Connect) service. I believe Non-Entity was exclusively offered for purchase there, but Hurt may have been available through other download services. While I personally don't see the harm in distribution of these files (as they are essentially out of print and unavailable for purchase), I'm sure someone still holds the rights to those recordings.

Perhaps someone could send you a PM with more details.

It was meant as a fairly lighthearted joke, dude. I'm anything but a tight follower of politics or policy, but it's frustrating to see someone's lack of personal responsibility go unnoticed and rewarded, but the gov't is quick to swoop in and shut down Megaupload like people are downloading plans for nuclear weapons.

As to the second part of your comment, I'm all for people's choices. But not for being rewarded for making bad ones.

Not trying to turn it into a political debate, but I think you took me way too seriously.

Ah, the old "it was a joke" defense for misogyny. Not only is your "joke" not funny but you're making an awful big leap in logic to compare government funded social programs to the FBI shutting down MegaUpload. There are other file sharing sites on the internet.

Megaupload (and its ilk) are in the government crosshairs because corporate lobbyists want it to be a priority. On the other hand, the percentage of your tax dollars that actually goes to someone's food stamps is laughably small.

Maybe you shouldn't make light hearted "jokes" about politics or policy when you're unfamiliar with the subject matter? Particularly so when it has nothing to do with the topic of conversation.

I guess next time I'll just issue a warning.

MrSlfDstruct

I'm familiar enough to make a very generalized joke about what takes priority in our country due to the deep pockets of these lobbyists. Issue a warning if you like, or delete the post if you see fit. I'm not here to argue with you. It was an obviously exaggerated statement that should have been recognized as hyperbole as to how laughable the situation is. But again, do what you want.

I realize this, but was unable to find the file anywhere else, hence the post looking for it.

I kinda thought the smiley was indicative of it being a joke in the first place, but I guess not. Also, it was a hugely gross exaggeration/leap in logic for that exact reason. Stiff crowd.

Like I said, Dave can do what he wants here. I certainly didn't want to start a political debate and/or argument with anyone, and again I thought the gross hyperbole and smiley emoticon made it clear that it was an attempt at humor. Since we've strayed way off topic here, I won't comment any further.

Hello NIN community! I was a member of The Spiral fanclub and have been a NIN fan since the early-mid 90s. I have everything from seven1963.org however...

I'm looking for a complete video torrent of the following shows:

11/5/05 - Philadelphia - With Teeth Fall Tour

8/29/08 - Philadelphia - Lights In the Sky tour

I was at both of these shows so I know how amazing they were but I didn't have any recording equipment. I've found complete audio for both shows but I want to burn a complete concert DVD for each show. I know some people would say "well why dont you just burn a show from the same tour?" but it's not the same. For example, Trent gave a good long speech at the 8/29/08 show and there was a guy who ran on stage and got tackled during Down In It, etc..little things that make these shows stand out to me since I was there. I personally feel that the With Teeth tour was the last tour from 2005-2009 era that Trent sounded really on point. **Edit update-Trent sounds better than ever at the festival shows in preparation for the Hesitation Marks tour. The best NIN has sounded since the WT tour imo!** I've only been able to find a select handful of videos on youtube of both shows. If anyone can provide a download/torrent/physical DVD of these shows, I'd greatly appreciate it. Please respond or private message me. NIN fans truly are the best so I hope someone is able to help me!

Thank you but I'm looking for complete video of these shows to burn a DVD.

RITC is considered by many to be an authoritative source on what live recordings exist (in circulation or not). The information provided in these links indicates that there are no known video sources available for these shows. If a video recording were to surface for either of these shows, I'd wager that RITC would be updated accordingly. The 2008 Philly show is of particular interest to many of the regulars here at ETS as it occurred during the 2008 ETS International Meetup and many of us (including our good friend eyb) ended up on the screen during Survivalism. Trust that if a video recording existed, we would know about it. Both the ubiquity of video recording equipment and NIN's open recording policy are relatively recent developments and apart from 2009 (and the 3 special 2008 shows), recordings are few and far between.

Does anyone know where I can find MP3s of the Sacramento show? I found the FLACs that the NIN crew released, but my bandwidth is shit and I can't afford to download all that. Direct FLAC > MP3 conversions are fine, or if there are any fan mixed versions of the audio, that would be great too. Also feel free to berate me if it was already mentioned in this thread and I missed it.

Also, if someone wants to seed the "Trent Reznor, Peter Murphy, Jeordie White, Atticus Ross: Live In Boston [6_23_06]" torrent (or provide a direct download link), I'd be grateful.

Thanks Dave. I have a lot of great audio/video from both seven1963.org, RITC, and all the Another Version of the Truth/This One Is On Us stuff. I am amazed at the dedication and effort that NIN fans put into this kind of stuff...it makes being a huge NIN fan that much better! I've found a lot of videos on youtube from the shows I'm looking for but not the entire concerts so it looks like the best I can do is use the complete audio from RITC and edit/intertwine with the few live videos on youtube plus images from nin.com. Thanks for clearing things up for me and responding. I've been a long time NIN fan and was a member of The Spiral but I rarely post anything. It's good to see fans helping other fans out.

by the way, the underlined part isn't 100% true. what NIN crew released was raw HD video, from which all subsequent audio had to be (and was) extracted by various individuals, so i cannot fully speak for my mp3 files, because i don't know who and with what software encoded them. sounds nice, tho ☺

I've never managed to burn the 2 disc Wiltern show sucessfully to DVD. Really can't get to the bottom of it. I've tried different discs, machines, settings, redownloading, nothing. Always either get burning errors or the disc is unplayable in my PS3. I've burned loads of other stuff fine.

With this in mind, does anyone know if a rip of these discs exists anywhere? I've watched the concert on my laptop using the VOB files, but I'd love a decent rip to watch on my TV. Any ideas? Thanks!

j/k. That looks like a pretty clean capture. Nice stereo audio. Sure, I'd like the DV file, please.

I'm interested too, is it the long analog version or the shorter recent digital re-air available on dvdr ? (a french fan recently pointed to me that re-air were shorter) wait... no logo ?

OHAI GUYS (and thanks ninjaw for messaging me about this).

The torrents *may* be down. This is because I just turned off our seedbox - it was $60 a month and we don't have enough traffic on it to justify it.

So, what I'm in the middle of doing is this:

* set up a 2x3Tb RAID 1 DiskStation (completed)
* copy all the files off the seedbox (150Gb, completed)
* setting up torrents to run from the diskstation (hopefully completed today).

Next up, will be to set up extra items to seed (ongoing, I'll be asking for a list of links soon). Once that's stable, if anyone wants to help seed (and get a copy), I'll work out some old laptop + large USB drive setup that's pre-configured to act as a personal seedbox - though that might be a while away right now. I'm aiming for a plug and play solution, so we can have (hopefully) at least 5 or 6 of these around the world, permanently seeding.

If you need access to the torrents right now, PM me and I'll sort out FTP access.

Edit: also, try the links on http://toiou.org/?page_id=30

I'm down to seed. I have the space to do so. Would be good to include as much as we can in there. From DVDs, to the 5.1 ones, ETS fan-made singles, etc.

hippygeek, thanks for alternate links, but I wasn't lucky even with those... I will wait untill you finish the new setup, just let us know when you have the links ready.

Maybe it would be now more effective to make the download available on demand, than keeping alive few seedboxes around the world - just my guess. I am looking just for DVD ISOs, so there is actually no need to reseed whole archive.

Sadly all of Jon's megaupload links are dead, including the 24/48 iThing-ready downsamples of Ghosts. I'm going to do my own this week and I'll share them when I have. For now, I was surpised that there wasn't an easy-to-find mirror of The Slip in 24/96, so I put one on archive.org: http://archive.org/details/NineInchNailsTheSlip24bit96khz

There is already an excellent 24/96 mirror of Ghosts there: http://archive.org/details/NineInchNailsGhostsI-Ivblu-ray24bit96khz
Edit: I say excellent but no lineage info

Edit 2: OK The Slip downsampled to 24/48 using DBPowerAmp as suggested earlier in this thread: http://archive.org/details/NineInchNailsTheSlip24bit48khz2008 (might take some time for archive.org to finish setting that up)
I need to perform a good listen test on it but no obvious errors have jumped out at me so far.

Edit 3: Ghosts listen tests complete, I'll get that up today.

Yea. The torrent itself probably wont be up for a long time. It's a very temporary tracker setup and trying to keep seeds on a 500gb file with very minimal traffic is going to be tricky. We can definitely discuss that topic in the thread (as to not derail this one) if anyone has opinions or suggestions.

I found a copy of the Torrent file:

http://torrage.com/torrent/F92E3DC5EBD940B97E6D308CF629B13044CD9586.torrent

Unfortunately, it appears that there may not be any seeders.

The 1080p MOV file, OTOH, appears to have 2 seeders.

http://thisoneisonus.org/files/TOIOU_NIN_AVOTT_GIFT_1080p.torrent

It would be relatively trivial to rewrap it into an MP4 container, if you have a specific need for MP4. It could also be recompressed to be scaled down to 720p MP4, if you need.

ginnugap
02-14-2013, 11:12 PM
I've come across a few torrents of the 1080p 5.1 file that claim to be seeded, and I could work with a .MKV (like you said the conversion is not that complicated). Most of them don't actually function and those that do are so slow it would take me weeks.

I guess I'm wondering if anyone has the actual file and would be willing to share it? The MP4 is preferable, but a MKV would be just fine.

EDIT: Oops, .MOV would be more complicated. I don't traffic in Apple software. All of the above remains the same.

DigitalChaos

I have the 1080p 5.1 MKV (10gb) and BluRay .ISO (20GB) of AVOTT

I also have the bonus DVD .ISO (4gb) and the Vegas DLDVD (8gb)

If you are having issues pulling down one of the torrents from the above, I can probably reseed.

Would anyone be interested in crappy cell phone quality videos from Chicago 5-6-05? I looked around on youtube and cant find any videos from that night. Luckily back in the day I had pulled all the videos off youtube that I could find and made a dvd that has almost the entire show clipped in. The songs where the sound was jacked are missing but it does come back with Trent saying "Sorry about the fuck up!". If you watch closely during The Big Come Down, Trent falls off stage for a brief moment and the timing was pretty good. I was pretty close at that time too maybe 3 or 4 people back... to me it looked like he was pulled off the stage by someone he reached out too. Was anyone else there and maybe remember seeing that? So this video runs through one set of videos in a row then goes to a bunch of random clips varying quality and even has The Dresden Dolls covering War Pigs. I was thinking that if anyone wanted it I could zip it up and sendspace it in parts... then if someone wanted to make a torrent out of it go ahead. These arent technically my videos... just my compilation from the net. I will probably be going through here in a couple of weeks (after finals week) and cutting the videos on the end out and making them single files. I am ripping the dvd now and will try to have it in mp4 format by the weekend.

Mediafire (http://www.mediafire.com/?hyn1oc9sodp85rj)

Does anyone have the FLAC files that used to be available through dimeadozen.org? I was just listening to these radio shows for the first time since 2006 and the quality decline between the first three that Trent posted and the last one that's only available recorded off the radio in 128kbps is very disheartening. I'd love to hear the final show in comparable quality to the others!

I don't have an account there and there doesn't seem to be any way to create one or I'd just do that.

I know we discussed via email. But yes, I did this whole website by myself putting the information in on each page. Obviously there is going to be some errors... Putting over 600 recordings up for download and messing up a link/info here and there is bound to happen. There are still a handful of errors on the NIN Drive that must be fixed as well. I mean... we did have to rename EVERY file in the archive too.

Peter Murphy with Nine Inch Nails - Q101 Chicago Radio Session

July 1st 2006, First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre

These soundboard rips were made available by zoethebulldog, who got them through a friend that has a friend at the radio station.

Enjoy!

Tracklist:
01. Dead Souls (originally by Joy Division)
02. Twenty-Four Hours (originally by Joy Division)
03. Warsaw (originally by Joy Division)
04. Atmosphere (originally by Joy Division)

The other one, the 128 Kbps MP3's, is not from seed0 (seed0 never released anything for this show), but rather an OTA recording.

PM a list of what you're interested in on DVD. I will definitely see what I can do. Don't worry about S&H; no charge.

Also, since you guys liked the Prick album, I have .rar-ed up the rare and out of print, Pigface album Gub (https://www.dropbox.com/s/5xnfuwzgw9uqyll/Gub.rar) complete with artwork. For those who dont know, this is where Suck originiated from, as well as Trent contributing "loops" to a track called The Bushmaster. Bill Rieflin and Paul Barker wrote the majority of the tracks along with Martin Atkins, and Ogre and En Esch also show up to lend some vocals. Great stuff from the heyday of the Waxtrax scene.
