So...any other fiends here? There's so many threads about post-life shows that were aired eons ago so why not for this?

What's everyone's favorite episodes?

one of my favorite shows. I grew up reading the comics, so I was already familiar with a lot of the stories, though I still don't understand why they never adapted the infamous "Foul Play" strip.

My favorite episode might be "The New Arrival."

While I'm here, this youtube channel has every Tales episode on it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RVJU1-F7t5g&list=PLT52XzVRtPAnFa7-RDICbbURdeuXtUvi0

I remember that one. It was pretty good.

I love "Death of Some Salesman" because Tim Curry does an awesome job as the 3 whackjob country bumpkin family members. I also really like "The Switch" for some reason. I guess because I like surgical transformation stories/frankenstein-like angles.

I like them all. As a kid, the scariest part was the intro.

How could you be afraid of the Crypt Keeper? D:

I am one of the few that ever remembers this show evidently as every time I bring it up no one has a clue of what I'm even talking about. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secrets_of_the_Cryptkeeper's_Haunted_House)

Lol well that part where he just comes out and laughs, literally was the only scary part of the show to me as a kid. The rest of the show was a piece of cake.

Has this show ever been entirely released on home media? Would love to go back and watch them all again.

I forgot the name of the episode, but I also like the one involving the man who killed the cop out in the dessert and then for the rest of the ep his day goes to shit.

Vultures lol

Also, I don't remember that show. I remember the animated Saturday morning cartoon though.

That episode rings a bell.

The entire series has been released on DVD. I own season 1, 2 and 7. I still need to get the others obviously!

Not surprised. No one does but look see:

That was the same thing with me when I was a kid, just that one part where he laughs. I also used to be deathly afraid of Tarman from Return of the Living Dead. Now I find both the Crypt Keeper and Tarman hilarious.

My favorite episode is the first one I saw with my dad (nostalgia sakes), it's the one with a guy who moves into an apartment and he's obsessed with his neighbor and the guy who owns the place gives the main character a love potion to give to the girl. I love that episode.

I also love the Crypt Keepers puns, so bad but so good.

I loved that as the show progressed through the seasons, he went from his brown hooded cloak of the first season and some of the second to comical outfits and monikers that fit with the stories before he introduced them.

What's everyone think of the movies? I haven't seen either of them.

It's been far too long since I've seen this show. I always loved it as a kid, and I was very upset when they stopped showing reruns on TV. I actually have a book about the show with the history of the comics, the original movie, how the show and movies came to be behind the scenes info and summaries of all the episodes, and a complete history of the crypt keeper from the first concept designs to the final character. I may have to drag that out and reread it...
