After hearing the new song, the opinion of most seems to be that indeed NIN have gone in a completely new direction with this one. I know it definitly shocked me in a bad way at first, but I'm kind of starting to like it... That is, taken out of the context of what I subjectively think/expect NIN to be.

With that said, I like it. What say the rest of you?

Poor choice of single in terms of pleasing NIN fans, casual or hardcore.

Good choice of single in terms of radio play, attracting new fans.

Song isn't as bad as the collective kneejerk is saying it is. It's quite nice actually. I saw someone describe it as a "career ender"??? the fuck?

It'll be a logical break in the show for me to go to take a piss and get more beer.

This song sounds like it belongs in a meathead video.

This song sounds like it belongs in a meathead video.

I think this was Trent's way of subtly hinting that he misses meathead and creating something that will inevitably bring him back.

I think it's a grower. Not bad, gotta hear it more.
