View Full Version : NiN Music Video Fans - Need your help

Hey y'all (this is my 1st post and whatnot, so go easy),

I'm putting together a NiN handpicked music video selection for a cinema I have ties in in London, UK - NiN videos on the big/loud screen!

I just wanted to see what folk aside from myself really really enjoy from the excellent video back catalogue.

Weird licensing restrictions stop me from showing bits and pieces but most videos will be fair game.

Personally i can't wait to see the Romanek collaborations in a cinema, plus the early Eric Zimmerman's.

The full edit of Sin would be nice, but i've never seen one without the timestamps. If you're bold. could go for the Broken Movie!

And which cinema?

Broken throws up weird legal stuff, already asked, Sin is one to try and track down properly. It'll be the Hackney Picturehouse out in east london.

Ah I know that one. Well, if Broken's a no (which is a shame, I don't know of it ever having a public showing), Survivalism/Into The Void are my pics. And you could always go for the unused version of Hurt or the alt take of Into The Void for a little spice

Sin is one to try and track down properly.
Here is the "remastered" Sin video that I put together a few years ago:

The first half of the video is upscaled from the 320x240 Divx video that leaked years ago. The second half of the video is from the Closure DVD. The audio is taken from the CD audio. As far as I'm aware this is the best presentation available of the full video.

Thanks for all your help guys. I had some time today to run through the Closure VHS Tape 2 on the one of the biggest screens in east london. It's hard to take a good photo on a smartphone in the dark, and to show scale, so the little green dots on some of the pictures are running men exit signs and the staging at the front is about 10 metres wide. The screen itself is 20 something metres! I'm piecing together different sources for the event, just fancied seeing what VHS looked like blown up...
