Im so fucking there! I knew they would play a London gig, Love the Scala, its about the same size as the legendary (sadly deceased) London Astoria.
Tickets will sell out in about 20 seconds. This is going to be a hard one to get tickets for.
Astoria gigs sold out in 5 minutes in 2005, so this probably wont be much different.
Wonder if there will be any sightings of Alan Moulder and Flood?!

Maybe so, but there'll still be casual fans signing up on the off chance, and almost certainly taking tickets out of the hands of people like us how inhabit these boards on a daily basis. Doesn't seem right to me.

Scorpius - I take your point, but knowing that NIN do a lot of presales through the NIN.com site, and knowing they've started touring again, you'd think that you'd have maybe taken a couple of minutes a few weeks ago, to sign up again as this'll be more on your radar than the casual fan who happens to see it mentioned on nme.com or wherever, and signs up on the day. This is a bit unique admittedly, as it's one of the few, if not the only NIN shows to be sold only through NIN.com.

Opinions will vary, no biggie.

With you on that - Captcha is crap! That was almost as difficult to read as the ticketmaster version. Will make sure I hit multiple shows next year in UK to make up for tonight's huge disappointment. O2 Arena - 2 nights please to ensure we all get tickets!! Plus Brum, Manc, Glasgow and Dublin no doubt. Be amazed if they still played Brixton...but if they do multiples there, would prefer it.

I travelled from Edinburgh last year to see Jack White at The Roundhouse for iTunes Festival with out winning a ticket, sat in line, asked folk if they were without a plus one and eventually someone said yes and I managed to get in and get one of the best spots at the show :).

I'm either going to get a flight the night before or first flight out (most likely), and will probably do the exact same thing. It'll be a long wait but as long as the people are good the chat will get you through it (it has been in my past experience, made some of the greatest friends meeting them waiting in line :) )

The venue has an odd config actually... whatever you do don't drink too much before the gig (if you where lucky enough to get a ticket) as the toilets are 2 flights of stairs away, so a wee break during the show will mean it will be impossible to get back to where you were standing. I actually don't like the venue much but I would trade my left nut for a ticket... maybe. ;-) I tried... and like so many failed. I think I have just about recovered from trying...just. :eek:

I know what you are saying, it must be frustrating to be 15 mins away. It's a shame in a way it's not a touch bigger. It's almost like double the size and we would have all got in (the die hard fans). Something will come along next year or year after. I'm thinking Leeds will be good, the light show looks impressive and a festival feel might be cool. I've always seen NIN in arenas.
