Metal is my favorite type of music. I love it more then anything, and my taste is alot harder lately, except NIN of course. Just curious to what other NIN fan, Metal Fans like...

And no, I am not 15. I am 30 years old and it just seems the harder the better, but i do love ALL the softer NIN stuff.

I recommend a documentary series currently on VH1 Classic called Metal Evolution, from the director of Metal: A Headbanger's Journey. The first episode discussed the roots, talking about the elements of Classical, Opera, Blues, Jazz and early Rock & Roll that are influential to the genre, that had people interviewees ranging from Nelson George to Yngwie Malmsteen. The 2nd episode focused on early American metal like MC5, Alice Cooper and Aerosmith. The one airing this week will touch on early English heavy bands,

I've started getting into black metal, but I'm fairly picky with the stuff I enjoy. I really like the lo-fi, punky stuff (Raspberry Bulbs, Bone Awl, Akitsa, etc) and on the opposite side of the spectrum the well produced, post-rock/shoegaze infused stuff like Alcest and Amesoeurs. Also into "black noise" stuff like Gnaw Their Tongues. So my tastes are all over the place really.

I love metal with clean vocals. I like growls and screams too, on occasion, but clean vocals are where it's at for me. Some stuff I've been listening to lately.....

Arcturus is supposedly working on a new album since ICS Vortex split from Dimmu Borgir. Probably my favorite song of his....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7bleAGvf4BI

I recently picked up the latest Nighwish, which was technically from the end of last year, but I like it. It's much better than the last album, and really cements the new singer in her role.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bP7nMf2Yggk

I bought tix to see Nevermore about a week before they broke up. Alas....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=57TA7t04WL0

Alataria is a power metal band that gets lots of repeats on my mp3 player....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYf2CSXmCDk

Sariola, band with lots of blast beats and operatic female vocals....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aENei3BVhxE

And then Iced Earth, needs no introduction
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TyU3rhBfdoo

and then Down, to switch it up a bit
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rH4nmmhv-c8

Kyng, which sounds like a more metal Chris Cornell, also with some blasts
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VkxXZKKBflE

Soen, new band featuring Martin Lopez (ex-Opeth) and Steve Digiorgio.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VEFORk1wYA

Adrenaline Mob, say what you will about how much better a band could be featuring Dream Theater and Symphony X (who are both awesome, btw), but I still like this song no matter what
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XO7ON_5SIck

So that's really just a few random tidbits of just whatever. Metal is awesome though....

Could we do with a discussion thread about metal? From classic to contemporary, heavy metal to deathcore...anything METAL.
I think maybe a general metal thread might be a good idea because the threads on individual bands tend to die after a few posts...

This summer Lamb of God are touring with Dethklok and Gojira, the last of which is I believe one of the best metal bands around today: http://www.theprp.com/2012/05/11/news/lamb-of-god-dethklok-gojira-summer-north-american-tour-announced/

top ten metal albums for me... (no order)

1. Black Sabbath - Master of Reality
2. Metallica - Kill em All
3. Metallica - Master of Puppets
4. Megadeth - Peace Sells
5. Akercocke - Antichrist (the most underrated band in metal)
6. Pantera - Official live 101 proof
7. Electric Wizard - Dopethrone (ne plus ultra of scuzzy doom)
8. Electric Wizard - Witchcult today (and similarly, possibly the best slickly produced doom effort)
9. Mayhem - De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas (almost faultless)
10. Dissection - The Somberlain

A few justifications for any potentially outraged parties... only 1 sab because IMO the first 3 albums are the same thing 3 times, and the third iteration was the best. Live album by Pantera because I honestly think it's the best, the trendkill tracks are savage and the bonus tracks are awesome. My favourite studio pantera would be trendkill, cowboys and driven - never been a massive fan of vulgar! heresy I know

No Slayer because their LPs are just too much like hard work... incredible live act, great sound as a band and they have definitely written some of the very best metal, but they've never delivered a classic LP imo - Reign in blood is great but it's about the length of a simpsons episode and has no variety (had it on tape as a kid and it was the whole album on both sides! Also while I'm reminiscing, a mate of mine said that as a kid he would get two pairs of 3d glasses, make a pair of entirely red glasses by cutting them up & sticking the two red sides together, and then go outside when it was raining, listening to raining blood)

Oooh Akercocke, love that band. I saw their first shows at the Red Eye/Devil's Church in London around 2000. Blew everyone away and proceeded to rise and rapidly become one of the best extreme metal bands around: a great mix of death/black and awesome weirdness. They could have been much much bigger if they'd taken touring seriously. To me their debut album, Rape of the Bastard Nazarene, will always remain their best, but I dig pretty much everything I've heard from them. I have an Akercocke longsleeve depicting a satanic goat going down on a nun...and the infamous She Likes Me To Stand t-shirt: http://www.myspace.com/akercocke/photos/62262855# NSFW

Extremely jealous you saw them back then! I only got into them with the 2nd album, but managed to attend a show on every tour since. 10th anniversary show was amazing... the whole of "rape..." followed by the best of the rest.

They've divided off into a few other bands now - Voices (drummer/bassist/keyboardist) and Skaldic Curse (first lead guitarist). Both pretty good in their own way! definitely a similar vibe

It's really weird, I was a party full of bullet belt & biker jacket types from the london death/black metal scene last night, and out of those that had heard of them, none really rated them! Kids today... *grumbles*

It's been a while since I've posted here and I've been dying to talk metal with some folks who can appreciate it (I literally only have one friend here in Denver to talk about it and attend shows with). Without a doubt *core is my love. Metalcore, deathcore, trancecore, chaoscore, mathcore...whatever.

Top five bands for me at the moment:
1. The Devil Wears Prada
2. Bring Me the Horizon
3. Dr. Acula
4. A Bullet for Pretty Boy
5. Of Mice & Men

But there are SO many more amazing bands out there. I've seen so many fantastic shows this year thanks to Denver being the biggest city within 500 miles...just about every band comes through here and they're always at smaller clubs that give a much more intimate and awesome feel. Plus, just about all the guys I've met at the merch table when buying their album have been so cool. Say what you will about the music and all, but metalheads are some of the nicest (and dumbest and smelliest) people I've ever met.

Double-bass for life.

Word on the street is that they chose it not after the movie but after the idea behind it: that the devil comes to you flashy and full of promise of amazing riches and whatnot but is ultimately hollow and superficial. They're a Christian band for sure. And for their first few albums, they were taking part in the stupid metalcore craze of naming songs ridiculously with titles that have absolutely nothing to do with the lyrical content. It's rather childish and annoying and I'll be the first to admit it, but they write some amazing songs.

Pretty much all of With Roots Above and Branches Below is amazing. Sassafras is fantastic. And for a really brutally heavy example, "Escape" from Zombie EP is one of the heaviest songs I've ever heard.

Jake, I'll check that song out in a minute!

Christianity is all about peace, love, being constructive, understated, humble... Metal is visceral, loud, earthy, brash, with undertones of violence, decadence and nihilism... I just don't get how people can shoehorn Christian sentiments into that medium

But yeah I'll give them a listen. The only "core" band I've heard knowingly and liked is Darkest Hour (are they metalcore?)

EDIT: So The Word Alive put out a cover of the unbelievably shitty Kanye song "Mercy" on Punk Goes Pop vol. 5. I can't stop listening to it. It's just...yeah. Darkest Hour, part. old Darkest Hour, is an American take on the Swedish melodic death metal sound. Criminally underrated band, with insane drumwork on the faster stuff. They barely ever headline, so I'm lucky to catch them doing 5 or 6 songs opening for someone bigger. bummer.

Good to know...thanks! Definitely going to making them a mainstay. And thank God for Spotify.

Any fans of Suicide Silence or Chelsea Grin? (side note: Hearts & Hands has Alex from CG doing screams/growls...that EP is seriously fantastic).

EDIT: The more I listen to Darkest Hour the more they make me think of a more accessible Lamb of God. Don't get me wrong, I love LoG, but I get a little...weary? listening to them for extended periods of time. I'm finding it harder and harder to sit through an entire album of theirs at once but with Darkest Days, it's the same death metal-influenced riffing but with catchier riffs/hooks and similar vocals.

All that said, I can listen to "Redneck" on repeat for hours.

EDIT 2: Just finished "The Human Romance" and really liked it a lot. Man, Darkest Hour is quickly becoming a favorite band. They're so heavy yet have such fantastic hooks. It's awesome. Gonna listen to "Hidden Hands of a Sadist Nation" next!

SS musically is solid. Their singer never did it for me. Then i saw them live last year opening for Machinehead and his on-stage demeanor was so over the top obnoxious that I was put off entirely from them after that. Terrible that he just passed though. Chelsea Grin is pure bandwagon-jumping style over substance silliness to me.

here's another of DH's bigger songs. They usually play this live.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vvePeOrcVTc

to me, newer LoG has some similartities to DH, but so much of LoG's stuff is meat & potatoes American metal, not really melodic or having much texture. DH almost unabashedly rip off the Gothenburg style, whereas LoG kinda combine Pantera's aesthetic with Slayer. I like LoG alot, but they can def. get very repetitive. I need a break after a bit as well.

klyrish
12-16-2012, 08:42 AM
I can totally see where you're coming from with SS and CG. I like both in small doses. I only recently got into both and I was really liking SS until I got to the song on "The Black Crown" with Jonathan Davis doing guest vocals. That's when I decided they had jumped shark and I was over them. That said, I love the song "O.C.D." from that album. The riff that starts around 2:15 is just amazing.

Speaking of shows, though, I just saw The Ghost Inside open for Miss May I back in November. I'd previously seen TGI in 2010 opening for Parkway Drive back when they were touring for Deep Blue and both bands killed it. It was also one of the best and most out-of-control shows I've ever attended. TGI had to stop their set 5 times due to fights and finally Jonathan called the assholes/idiots out on their behavior. Then, as soon as PWD ripped into their set, someone jumped from the second floor balcony into the pit. It happened again during Romance is Dead and Winston stopped the song to remark about how "fucking crazy" we were.

Anyway, Miss May I...I've seen them the last two years at Warped Tour and honestly was not impressed. I was at that show mostly to see Glass Cloud (who ended up missing the set because their van flipped the night before on their way from Salt Lake City) and TGI. TGI was absolutely incredible and we decided to stay for MMI. I'm so glad we did. They put on one of the most incredible shows I've ever been to. So much energy and just unbelievable ability to get the crowd into it. I guess I need to stop seeing bands at Warped Tour.

And that video/song is awesome, bobbie. The vocalist is not at all what I expected him to look like. He's like the Rivers Cuomo of metal.

I've tried to get into DH here and there, but they don't do it for me: too Gothenburg. I've always liked Carcass a lot more than At The Gates, and I wish it were Carcass that had spawned a genre not ATG.

As for the metalcore bands that Klyrish is discussing, I dislike the majority of the ones I have heard. At this point I can pretty much tell by a band's name that I won't like it. A lot of these bands (TDWP, BMTH) over-use keyboards.

In principle I dig deathcore, but have yet to find that great deathcore band: I find Job For A Cowboy pretty disappointing. I enjoyed All Shall Perish's first two records, then they diversified too much and they lost me. Though I have been digging the new Whitechapel record: it's like the missing link between Meshuggah and Korn.

As for contemporary metal I dig a some of the djent stuff: Sumerian Records seems to hit that nail on the head. Born of Osiris and Veil of Maya are probably my two favourite bands to come out of that scene. Periphery and Tesseract being my least favourites. Basically the more emo any djent band contains, the worse it will be.

I also like some of the neo-thrash stuff: Municipal Waste and Toxic Holocaust are probably the two best bands playing that style at the moment, and both bands put on killer live shows.

I also think the raw end of metal+hardcore is making a great comeback: I enjoyed Trap Them's Darker Handcraft and that latest Black Breath record is fucking phenomenal: the kind of album that gives you faith in the power of metal to be actually heavy again.

I can see where you're coming from with the keyboards. All I can say about TWDP is give Zombie EP and Dead Throne a listen...both have far less keyboards than previous albums and Zombie EP marks their shift to primarily being dropped-B (rather than dropped-D for their first 3 albums) and an overall more brutal/aggressive sound and song structure. Specifically: Escape, Dead Throne, Mammoth, Born to Lose and Constance.

And BMTH started as straight deathcore on Count Your Blessings (it's an awful album, both in terms of songwriting and production but I'm sure there are MANY who would disagree with me on that), started incorporating more melody on Suicide Season and finally shifting to just straight metalcore on There is a Hell... Not sure how much of them you've listened to, but I say give Suicide Season a shot if you haven't heard that album yet. It's got some amazing riffs and vocals (Oli still shrieked and growled on that album rather than just straight-up yelling/screaming on There is a Hell...). The Comedown, Chelsea Smile, Football Season is Over, Diamonds Aren't Forever and No Need for Introductions, I've Read About Girls Like You on the Back of Toilet Doors (probably my favorite song of theirs...it's 1:00 long, 100% grindcore with amazing lyrics and it's also the best ending to a show I've ever seen) are the standout tracks on that album.

EDIT: I take it back...Crucify Me is still, without a doubt, my favorite BMTH song.

I want to like Job for a Cowboy, but yeah...they're just too...I dunno. They don't do it for me. I've been liking Texas in July a lot lately, though I guess they're not really deathcore. I need to give All Shall Perish another chance. How do you feel about Whitechapel? They put on a hell of a live show.

I hate that word/term but I guess it is what it is...have you heard of Glass Cloud and/or Structures? Both are prog-metal/djent and I think you may like them. Structures is definitely out there with their song-structures (lolololololol) but after a couple listens you start to know what you're in for so it's easier to go with the flow (or lack thereof). The song "Paralyzed___" is a perfect example: all these crazy riffs and mid-verse breakdowns and suddenly it turns into a pop-punk chorus (don't let that turn you off, though. It's actually a really great song).

I also think the raw end of metal+hardcore is making a great comeback: I enjoyed Trap Them's Darker Handcraft and that latest Black Breath record is fucking phenomenal: the kind of album that gives you faith in the power of metal to be actually heavy again.
I need to check both of those out...never heard of either. Thanks!

saw KSE do Alive or Just Breathing in full tonight in Brooklyn at Music Hall of Williamsburg. Acaro opened, generic metalcore but solid. it was REALLY nice to see Shadows Fall again...it's been at least 6 or 7 years. Played for 45 minutes. Good mix of old & new. Brian's dreads are completely insane now. I didnt realize that he has never cut them. I kept expecting them to get caught on random things on the stage. they ended with a thrash version of Bob Marley's War, which was silly and not good.

KSE was absolutely perfect. One of the best shows i've been to in the last few years. Jesse's voice is really, really strong. band was tight, as always. And the energy...wow. The crowd was SO loud all night screaming every lyric. Jesse didnt even need to sing half the time if he didnt want to. The Howard songs were pulled off really, really well too. Everyone in the club had a big grin on the whole night. Such a positive feeling seeing them do that record and everyone feeling it so much. Never thought I'd hear songs like Rise Inside or To The Sons of Man again. Psyched to hear this new record in April.

Whitechapel is pretty much the only deathcore band i actively pay attention too. maybe im too old. "get off my lawn" i guess. I did check out The Ghost Inside a few weeks back and i assuemd they were a shitty scene band bc of their terrible name, turns out theyre a decent hardcore (i use the term loosely...no one's confusing these dues for Madball) chugga chug band.

Whitechapel is great and they put on a HELL of a show. I saw them on the side stage at Mayhem this year and they were great. Sadly, the sound was awful out there.

TGI is so, SO good. They have amazing lyrics, too.

Anyone a fan of Dr. Acula? They're cockrock/party metal/deathcore, are not to be taken seriously at all and I absolutely love them. I've seen them live twice in small clubs here in Denver. The first time, Tyler (screams/shrieks) pulled my buddy Joe and I on stage during the last song, "Who You Gonna Call?" and handed us the mic. It was so cool. My favorite original song of theirs is Party 2.0:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qKKKnJUTvYY

And they do a cover of Wiz Khalifa - No Sleep that is, without a doubt, the best cover of a song I've ever heard.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jpIpw_vqCdQ

They've broken up in the last couple of months which really sucks because their live shows are such high-energy affairs that are a complete blast. They always hang out in the crowd before the show and the second time I saw them, I was standing by Tyler and Casey (growls) and they were just ripping on The Bunny The Bear for their entire set.

It's been an incredible summer for new *core.

The new We Came As Romans is...exactly what you'd expect, but the title track, "Tracing Back Roots" is incredible. One of my favorite songs of the year.

Like Moths to Flames' sophomore album is fantastic. Heavy and EXTREMELY dark. I need to give it another listen now that a few weeks have passed.

SECRETS second album is a bit more on the easycore/pussycore side with all the whiny lyrics trying to pull in the high school crowd, but the first two tracks on the album ("How We Survive" and "Ready for Repair") are great. Not a big fan of the new guy doing unclean vocals but I was never a fan of their uncleans so I guess it's not that big of a difference.

And now, this week...NEW NORMA JEAN! I can't wait. The two songs released so far are exactly what I was hoping for from them--their signature style of harsh, abrasive and seemingly random/chaotic riffing over a really solid hook. Hopefully I get the MP3 link tomorrow morning and then FINALLY my preorder packages of all four of those albums (and lots of signed extra goodies) will ship out this week. :D

New Chimera this week, too, I believe. And then TDWP 8:18 on 9/17. Cannot WAIT for that one. Preorders start worldwide on 7/30 and by doing so, you immediately get links to MP3s of two of the new songs!

EDIT:

How could I forget ABR and BMTH?

The new ABR honestly sounds like Leveler part 2. I've listened to it once and likely won't again. They're a great band but just so...meat-and-potatoes metal. They put on one of the best live shows I've ever seen, however. And their drummer is one of the most underrated of all-time.

Sempiternal...holy shit. This album is incredibly. It's amazing how much BMTH has evolved from being yet another generic deathcore band with Count Your Blessings to this incredible post-hardcore band they are today. "Can You Feel My Heart" is absolutely fantastic. If you didn't know it was them, you'd never be able to tell. I love the evolution this band continues to go through. I just wish their live shows were as good as their albums but CYB destroyed Oli's vocal cords and he's...well, he's terrible live to be perfectly honest. Regardless, Sempiternal is one of my favorites of the year so far.

Seems like a good place to leave this...
http://www.terrorizer.com/news/news-news/max-cavalera-troy-sanders-greg-puciato-enter-studio/

Max Cavalera, Troy Sanders and Greg Puciato have begun recording an album together in Los Angeles. The Soulfly, Mastodon and Dillinger Escape Plan members are joined by former Mars Volta drummer Dave Eilich – who have all descended to Fortress Studio in LA. Josh Wilbur – who produced Lamb Of God’s ‘Wrath’ – will produce the album.
Talking to Terrorizer en route to the studio yesterday, Max said:

“It’s going to be cool, we just don’t have a name yet, the name is a pain in the ass to find a name but the music is great. We have been working on this for two years!
Greg approached me kinda like how Alex [Newport] approached me to do Nailbomb in that he was really, really trying to get me to do this project. I told him already I was pretty busy doing Soulfly and Cavalera Conspiracy [and] I was not really looking for an extra thing, but he was pretty insistent and then I just gave up and was like ‘let’s fucking do this!’
“It started with just me and Greg and then we got Dave Elitch – he’s an amazing drummer – and then Greg knew Troy and we asked him to be the bassist so it kind of became a supergroup all of a sudden. We jammed a couple of times and the last jam we did it sounded killer; the songs are really powerful real heavy. It’s hard to describe but I think the coolest thing about this project is that all three of us are going to sing on every song.”
The album will be released, says Max, during 2014.
You can find Soulfly on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Soulfly/8616079092?fref=ts).

To me, Mayhem are to metal what Aphex Twin is to electronic music: once I discovered them, there was no point going any further into that respective genre.

Coming from Rolling Stone, it's a decent list. For the hell of it, my top picks would be, in no particular order:

Behemoth - The Satanist
Fallujah - The Flesh Prevails
Mastodon - Once More 'Round The Sun
Cannibal Corpse - A Skeletal Domain
YOB - Clearing the Path to Ascend
Eyehategod - Eyehategod
1349 - Massive Cauldron of Chaos
Black Crown Initiate - The Wreckage of Stars (Definitely best full-length debut released this year)
Slipknot - The Grey Chapter
King 810 - Memoirs of a Murderer (nice to see a young band blend aspects of Korn and Slipknot into a concept album, although I can understand why people who hate nu-metal despise this one, I personally thought it was great)
Valdrin - Beyond the Forest
Goatwhore - Constricting Rage of the Merciless
Lord Mantis - Death Mask
Hour of Penance - Regicide
Machine Head - Bloodstone & Diamonds

Bands who released albums this year I've yet to listen to (and probably should): Triptykon, Misery Index, Crowbar, Revocation, Job For A Cowboy (not a fan, but the stellar reviews for Sun Eater caught my eye), In This Moment, In Flames

I'm pretty sure there isn't a band specific thread, so... I picked up the Anthrax album today. I've had an mp3 copy for a little while now, but it's nice having the real thing. I see it's been getting lots of great reviews, so perhaps at last we'll see a rise in their profile and maybe a little more critical respect (whatever that might be worth!).
So anyway, I think it's awesome. It certainly feels a little more focused and consistent than anything they've done in a while. Perhaps even since Sound Of White Noise. Considering how long it takes these guys to get a record out if follows surprisingly nicely from Worship Music. If you were interested you probably heard Evil Twin a while back, and then Breathing Lightning more recently. Pretty good examples of where they're at. Evil Twin is one of the heaviest tracks on there, and Breathing Lightning one of the most melodic. If you don't like either then don't bother at all.
I do enjoy the fact that they're not trying to be like anyone else (by that I mean it is good old fashioned heavy metal), although it is perhaps missing a little of the odd fun side of the band. That's my only real complaint - it does perhaps lack a bit of personality. Way back when with Persistence of Time they did a dark heavy album rather lacking in 'fun', but it still felt specifically Anthrax in it's darkness. Maybe it was just a New York vibe, but it had a sort of urban anxiety in it. For All Kings has a bite for sure, but I'm not sure it cuts quite as deep emotionally, but maybe that's just old age.
Speaking of age though - they sure don't slouch live. Caught them at the end of last year, and hoping they'll come back through the UK in the summer maybe.

aggro, that's that Finnish band I've been hearing about alot, right? I listened to a few of their songs I think last week. Really good stuff.

If you've liked any of Norma Jean's output in the last decade, you're going to fucking love this.

Listening to it as I type this. 3 songs into it. Solid so far.

NJ is my second favorite metalcore band (just behind DEP). I listened to Polar Similar today, it fucking rocks, I think it's their best album yet. I also love that they recorded it at Pachyderm Studios.

The new Sepultura single "Phantom Self" that came out a few weeks ago is amazing. I can't wait for the new album. Dante XXI and A-lex were both career highlights for these guys and I get that same feeling about the new album.

I tried searching for a YOB thread but there was none to be found in this thread...fuck, their new song 'The Screen' is immensely heavy. So looking forward to the new album:

I've been listening to Blut Aus Nord lately and I really love it. Can anyone recommend any instrumental metal bands that have an industrial sound as well? I'd be eternally grateful.

Jesu is a Godflesh Related project in a similar vein but not as heavy.

Mostly not instrumental, sorry:

Front Line Assembly = mostly Electro-Industrial, but the albums Hard Wired and Millennium are considered Industrial Metal.

Merzbow = you'd have to do some digging, but Masami Akita has done plenty around this genre. The Scott Miller/Lee Camfield/Merzbow project No Closure is great. Also, Sun Baked Snow Cave (Boris with Merzbow) builds to an impenetrable wall of electronics and guitars.

Wolves In The Throne Room = there isn't the "crunchy" industrial sound like Godflesh, but I think this could be right up your alley if you like Blut Aus Nord.

I heard it live first via a fan recording in the front row but it sounds even better here. Getting an album pre-order off Metal Blade for this album is gonna be difficult.

The new Sepultura track is a monster! I’m a big fan of the post Max stuff and if this is any indication this album is going to be one of their best.

The new Blood Incantation album fucking RIIIIIIIIPS. Awakening From The Dream is worth price of admission alone. Wish I knew this thing leaked last month or I would have been jamming it way sooner.

I'm finally giving a shot to the cavalera brothers re-recorded first 2 sepultura releases, pretty damn good stuff.
I never really listened to these two records because they sound like shit, they did them really well this time around, some good gnarly stuff on there too, makes me wonder how Max is going to pull it out live.
