So Trent made a comment about Animal Collective...which I find hilarious considering that Nine Inch Nails and Animal Collective are my two most listened to bands.

It happened to me, too. You just have to uncheck the "Download with download accelerator blah blah" box and it'll take you right to the page with the link (If anyone else is wondering).

Also, thank you! I'm looking forward to giving this a listen while I'm at work.

Every time she says that, it hurts.

The transitions were done really well, thanks for uploading this. The interview was cool to listen to.

So they said in the interview that they didn't provide lyrics so people can interpret it themselves.

Do we have an official or close to complete set of lyrics?

the tracks from the official website had embedded lyrics, so I'm not exactly sure why they said that.

The embedded lyrics ARE wrong though, if you've read them. They're kinda WT poster-ish, skeletons of what they became.

Still, as someone who loves lyrics and words, not providing lyrics is an annoyance regardless of artistic intent :P

wait, they were? I actually didn't know that. Now you know that I didn't read them all that intensively.

Jenny: "That guy... one of the interesting things I discovered about him is that he co-wrote a bunch of songs on Fallout Boy's breakthrough album."
Trent: "Really?"
Bahahaha.

LOL
(they're sandwiched between Fall Out Boy and Eminem, at Pukkelpop... hope things work out well)

Remember when Trent gave a articulate, thoughtful answer and the interviewer responded, "WORD." That was funny.

Isn't that how it's pronounced? My mom's name is "Marianne" and it's three distinct syllables, each pronounced separately, Mary Anne. And it's never shortened.

I didn't listen too closely, but I think any problem she has is with emphasis... putting the main accent on the last syllable QUEEN

I feel like it would be without emphasis or separation between the two syllables. Someone else pronounced her name differently in the opening, too (Mah-ree-queen), which seemed more correct, but I would think that if it was wrong (or if Mariqueen was bothered by it), she would make sure to give clarification before the broadcast, so maybe (definitely) I'm making a big deal out of nothing.

Ah okay. Although, now that I really think about it, having studied this linguistics stuff a ton in college for my degree, my mom's name has a slight emphasis on the third syllable ("Anne"); I don't think Mariqueen's name would be different. Edit: duh I can't sleep but I'm tired; THREE syllables, not two.

I don't know if it helps but the french way of saying Marianne is two syllabes, like Mar'-Yann

Thanks, that's the official way since it's French. Americans fuck up French, though. It's our forte. (haha)

Thanks for sharing. Wow the interviewer sounds like a robot! However, good questions and answers.

Keep thinking how so many of TR's fave albums and influences have an Eno connection.

Edit: I didn't realise the singularity influence ran so deep. Some of the track names jumped out but looking at them in order properly for the first time... Of course. If you haven't already go and read some Vernor Vinge!
