Well the boards back up. Its looking great. but it seems everyones posting about the same old crap music that they've been posting about for the last 10 years. please no more Radiohead, KORN, Rammstein, Tool, etc. this is 2011 and there are amazing things afoot.

Big Black Delta. brainchild of Jonathan Bates of Mellowdrone. Instead of gushing about it here (i have a dead blog for that, that i'd rather waste my time resurrecting) I'll just post some videos.

This was one of those examples of albums that are given away for free, but it's so good that I felt like I had to buy it. I don't think I'll ever regret having it in my collection. :D "Capsize" and "IFUCKINGLOVEYOU" are friggin' incredible.

Found out about Jon through his guest work on SONOIO's song Houdini, then in January I gave him more attention after remembering I downloaded BBDEP1 a few months prior. Since rediscovering it, I've been hooked on both BBD and Mellowdrone. Eventually bought some CDs/vinyl from both bands (Mellowdrone available through http://cominghomerecords.spinshop.com/ if you'd like to extend some support).

Anyway, a few of us were working on lyrics to BBD songs on the old board, which I recently recovered this from Google cache and put it on LyricWiki (http://lyrics.wikia.com/Big_Black_Delta). I did some minor edits after a few additional months of listening, but these tracks still need lots of help: Betamax, Roost, Put The Gun On The Floor and LeonardMcGeonardVSDrunkenCalculator. I think we did a really good job on the rest, though.

I was thinking about this the other day. Seeing these two in the same tiny little venue would be fucking NUTS.

Considering how close the two are, I wouldn't doubt it if it's come up in discussion between them to sooome degree, even if very little. But even so, it's one hell of an idea.

Hell, I'd go just to hear them play their remix of Houdini and just loop cat sounds for 10 minutes. :P

They did a show together in LA right before Halloween. Pictures. (http://flickr.com/photos/caspar_v/sets/72157627954340583/) Jon's attire is comical there, he tweeted that there was an actual ring put through the bellybutton area of the shirt. I think they first met when Jon was touring with Mellowdrone and opened for Al.

This album was great. Slightly overshadowed by the new Sonoio, for me, but I thoroughly enjoyed the crap out of it. I also second the notion that a dual Sonoio, BBD show would be incredible.

The LP (and EP) are very addictive. Very difficult to put down. I've been able to put it down, but still have to listen to it a couple of times a week. Weird habit of humming Dreary Moon to myself at work... Probably look crazy, but oh well, fuck em!

YES.

The best independent bands seem to be realising this lately: release shit for free, make it good enough that people will recommend it to friends and you have an instant loyal fanbase who will probably pay decent cash for the physical version of something they already have in digital.

It really is an awesome model. I really wanted to get the shirt and poster with it to save myself 10 bucks, but I didn't have the money to spend on it this time around. I have no problem showing this music to everyone I know. :D I posted the link to it every day that first week it was out for free. I probably annoyed some people, don't really care. :P Seriously, more bands need to do this, and more bands already are, actually. Even a free stream of the album from the website is better than nothing.

I just wish it were longer. It feels so short.

Seriously, these two are perfect for each other. I'd shell out money and drive whatever distance I had to to see them play a co-headlining show together, or maybe opening for someone together. (I still contend that BBD/Sonoio/HTDA would be one of the best shows I'd see in my entire life if it ever happened.)

I'd start a new thread, but I don't know of the talk about the band would be worth starting a new thread anyway.

Aside from iTunes, and the mellowshare account, is it even possible to get the rest of the Mellowdrone discography? I keep finding torrents for either Angry Bear, Box, and then the stuff from mellowshare, and then there's this "Mellowdrone All I could find" torrent that's floating around online, but absolutely refuses to actually download for me.

I'm not exactly asking anybody to hand me anything directly, but I just want to know if their other material is even out there. Glassblower, Go Get 'Em Tiger, ADOIP, all that.

Got my tickets, though! Missed out on general admission, but I got center seats in the third row, so I guess that's pretty good too...Is it too much to speculate that we can expect a new release of some kind in the next couple of months to coincide with the tour? The Boston date in August says "Band of Skulls" is playing. The CT date doesn't list anyone. When I went to the Foxwoods website it makes it seem like only JA is playing. I wonder if this is just like when he opened for M83 and then Joy Formidable and he only plays the CA dates.

I once clicked the "management" button on BBD's website, and unless I'm mistaken Dave Navarro was once listed on the same management site. I can't recall if BBD had a different site linked at that time or if Nerve is the same. If I remembered this correctly, this may be the connection.

Well, if anyone figures out exactly what dates BBD are playing, please post. Some dates say Band of Skulls. One date said Die Antwoord or whatever. I think another had a different band. It seems like their using multiple bands. There's no way I would go unless BBD were playing, which it doesn't seem likely at the dates near me...unless it's the Foxwoods date because Boston says Band of Skulls.

Well, it looks like (http://www.amazon.com/If-Kingloveyou-Explicit/dp/B008DPP5NQ/ref=sr_shvl_album_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1340519543&sr=301-2) the remixes are Sei A, Jimmy Edgar and Throwing Snow. Good ole LeonardMcGeonard is a B-side, too.

Here (http://www.factmag.com/2012/06/13/hear-throwing-snow-totally-reconfigure-big-black-deltas-ifuckingloveyou/)'s a bit on the Throwing Snow remix; what do you guys think of it? I'm actually pleasantly surprised by it; I generally don't like remixes much.

I've also heard Sei A's work on Man Without Country's "King Complex". I'm not too big a fan of that one so I'm not expecting much there.

Aww, I was hoping one of his new tracks would make an appearance for teaser purposes. Oh well, it may not really the place for it anyway.

I just saw Caspar tweet (http://twitter.com/caspar_v/status/216940984091680768) and later confirm some BBD lyrics from The Zebrah, so I corrected the lyricwiki page (http://lyrics.wikia.com/Big_Black_Delta:The_Zebrah). That site has lyrics I compiled from old ETS with minor changes after longer listening times. Asked Caspar about it, he said Jon will never release official lyrics :(. Things can change, but he doesn't have a good track record for this.

The Jimmy Edgar mix is streaming now (http://noisey.vice.com/blog/big-black-deltas-ifuckingloveyou-jimmy-edgar-remix-premiere)... It's interesting and maybe worth a few more listens here & there but it's nothing fantastic in my opinion.

So "Riflemen are Googling love," eh? Haha, nice catch. But I guess we'll never know the rest for sure...

What is this.

Uhh, well anyway, I guess we can use the lyrics posted below it to amend our transcribed lyrics of the original, which I'll get to doing now.

Also, there will apparently be a new version of the IFUCKINGLOVEYOU single with a bonus remix by N-Type & Surge. (http://www.amazon.com/If-Kingloveyou/dp/B008JESXQ2/ref=sr_shvl_album_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1342387238&sr=301-3) It'll be out on the 24th. I guess I'll wait to buy the single til then.

"I...LOVE YOU! "I..LOVE YOU!"

That's a nice little site, though! I'll have to keep up with it. I'm really excited to see BBD coming on the up-and-up, especially with him saying new tunes are coming "in a couple weeks" a couple weeks ago, but there's a good chance he could just mean the remixes. I'm hoping otherwise.

Seriously though... I think he'd replace it with something else, but what? "I REALLY LOVE YOU"? That's a bit silly. Then again, were it not for the title of the song, I wouldn't even know it had profanity.

And I doubt he meant remixes, especially since a new album for this year has been confirmed. I'm really looking forward to BBDLP2.

I don't know - the easiest thing for me to imagine is just a lowering or removing of "fucking" from the mix, which you hear every now and then in radio edits. I think I'd prefer that to a replacement word or words.

I didn't know there was already a confirmed new album before the end of the year, that's awesome! Thanks to that great little fan site, I found out the name of that instrumental I love - Ghost Rider! If they play that at any of the NYC/Brooklyn shows, I will be very, very happy. So incredibly psyched that BBD are finally playing some shows in my area. Very grateful.

New interview here (http://jonnyabrams.blogspot.fr/2012/07/interview-big-black-delta.html) says the new album is finished and should be out "in the next couple of months"! However, it looks like he's again recycling old songs: Huggin & Kissin, Capsize & The Zebrah will all be on it, he says. Needless to say, IFUCKINGLOVEYOU probably will be, too, since it's being re-released as a single and all. Not quite sure how I feel about that...

Also, at the Philadelphia show (http://bbdarchive.wordpress.com/2012/08/01/gig-08-01-2012-electric-factory-philadelphia-pa/) just now, they played a new song called "Suit and Tie". Hopefully we'll get to see a video of that soon!

So do you guys think the new album will just be BBDLP1 with Ghost Rider & Suit and Tie added to it? This development at least makes me think it won't after all be called BBDLP2...

I'm thinking the same. Since he seems to be rebooting the band, I'd imagine he'd start off with a different album trend. Not that there'd be anything wrong with BBDLP2, either. I'm just stoked to hear more from BBD! Can't wait to see 'em in three weeks. :P

Speaking of which, does anybody wanna meet up in Nebraska on the 25th? I've got an extra ticket, just a couple rows behind general admission. I wanted GA SO bad, but those things sold out fast. I got two tickets through the Jane's fanclub thing, with autographed posters, for about $198 for the pair ($99 each, which is fucking nuts), but I'd be cool with like, $70.

'Left Out' has been played a couple of times, and can be seen in pretty good quality here: here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_U6KrKFcVVI)

The recycling is dumb.

His new IFLY single and remix are labeled MOB001 and MOB002 (Masters of Bates label), and I was thinking the other day about how he could have named them BBDS1 and BBDR1 to keep in line with his original scheme. S for the singles, R for remix albums. This way when BBDLP2 comes along, if it's called that, the naming won't look out of place. But that's just me.

I'm still really excited for new stuff, though. I shouldn't really nitpick over the small shit, we're getting new music soon.

I'm with you. I don't need second or in some cases even third copies of these songs. I was slightly irked about the repeats from BBDEP1 on BBDLP1 but understood for the most part the reasoning. This baffles me.

Had an amazing night seeing BBD for the first time last evening at a place called Pianos in NYC. Danced my ass off. Met some really great people. New stuff sounded awesome - "Left Out" in particular was great, and featured a cool extended drum outro that's not in the soundcheck video. "Suite and Tie" was badass, too: it has a similar staccato synth part like "Huggin' & Kissin'" but is more upbeat and happy sounding if that makes sense. I think my friend got a rough recording of it. I only wish they did that mind-blowing instrumental ("Ghost Rider" I think it's called?) - hopefully at the next gig.

Meeting the band was great. Jon, as expected, is an incredibly down-to-earth and cool guy. Amy's replacement Chris seemed like a genuinely cool dude, too, but I only met him for a second. Super awesome getting to talk to Mahsa: she was really chatting it up with me and my brothers after the show. Apparently, she's been doing some remixes and is hard at work on a full-length Omniflux album, and aiming to be finished tracking by the end of the year (and probably wants Caspar to do some of the artwork) - fuck yeah.

They're playing another show tomorrow at a Bowling Alley of all places, which may be too weird and awesome to pass up. I'll definitely be at the next Pianos show on Friday, the 17th, though.

My friend got a setlist, so I can confirm/edit this later if I'm wrong, but the set last night was close to the following:

Put the Gun on the Floor
Capsize
Huggin' & Kissin'
Dreary Moon
Betamax
The Zebrah
Suite & Tie
Left Out
IFUCKINGLOVEYOU

By the way, if anyone else here is seeing BBD on one of their future dates, you may want to keep an eye out an exclusive tour poster.

Are they live versions of those songs? I mean...If they are, I'll definitely be buying it. But if it's just the same studio recordings we've been given two and three times, I might have to pass. I'd just rather spend the money on new music or even some merch at the show on the 25th.

The Single has all the remixes that are on the Digital EP, and also LeonardMcGeonardvsDrunkenCalculator. In regards to the Tour EP, I'm pretty sure they're just album versions of the songs, unless he has played LeonardMcGeonardvsDrunkenCalculator at some show? Totally valid stance, but part of the reason I'm glad I missed BBD at Summerstage is because a.) they played outdoors (not a biggie, but not how I'd want to see them), and b.) they played in fucking daylight. Even if you're Hanson (no disrespect intended), I feel a show in daylight kills so much of the mood. In BBD's case, a massive amount of the atmosphere is gone. According to the band, they didn't even bother with their admittedly minimal lights for the Central Park show. Despite the grandiose backdrop of outer-space and UFOs, BBD thrive on a certain level of claustrophobia and darkness live.

Have you listened to them on record? Probably won't change your mind, but it becomes more apparent that BBD's brand of 80's worship is a lot dirtier, less polished, and just plain weirder than most - but that could be what's turning you off. For me, Bates' voice alone is enough to elevate Big Black Delta above similar acts.

So the second NYC show at Pianos happened last night, and I can confidently say a Friday compared to a Thursday show makes a noticeable difference. The venue was more or less packed yesterday, whereas the first show had some obvious gaps in the crowd. I had an absolute blast during both gigs, but I think last night's takes the cake for two reasons: 1.) more people dancing/more active crowd/more much deserved applause, and 2.) they played that instrumental (currently titled "Nanners"), and I fucking lost it. I don't think I've danced like that since I saw The Prodigy a few years ago. I requested they play it via twitter (and got a response!), but I didn't think they'd go through with it. The power of social media is spellbinding. It took the place of where Dreary Moon was during the first Pianos performance. It worked out well since that first audience was more mellow, and the second clearly came to move.

Setlist:

Put the Gun on the Floor
Huggin' & Kissin'
Capsize
Nanners (a.k.a. Ghost Rider)
The Zebrah
Betamax
Suite & Tie
Left Out (Chris Hornbrook fucking nailed the drum outro on this one)
IFUCKINGLOVEYOU

I had the pleasure of meeting Caspar from Version Industries as well which was awesome. He liked seeing the SONOIO blue shirt I was wearing (which he designed) "out in the wild" as he put it. We talked briefly about seeing SONOIO open for Ladytron at Terminal 5, and I think I started gushing because he and Bates said it sounded like I was describing a fine wine.

Misc. bits I gathered: The next Big Black Delta LP is due for October-November. In regards to Nanners, he apparently did try some vocals for it but it gave the song the wrong vibe. He also said it's a song he may send out to other artists to work on or something like that... not sure if the implication was remix work or alternate vocals. I don't care what happens just as long as it gets released: It's too fucking good. My brother talked to Chris who apparently said BBD are planning some kind of "big money" live show, which I think equates to a more elaborate and synchronized light set-up. Sweet!

And here comes the self-indulgent, show & tell portion. As of last night, I got all 3 of my BBD posters signed! Super, super grateful.

And here comes the self-indulgent, show & tell portion. As of last night, I got all 3 of my BBD posters signed! Super, super grateful.

General tour poster (http://i49.tinypic.com/2qx16ps.jpg) (signed by Bates [upper right], Mahsa [forehead], and Chris [neck])
Pianos 8/9 poster (http://i47.tinypic.com/2elzcxl.jpg) (signed by Bates [bottom right]) / Pianos 8/9 ALT. (http://i47.tinypic.com/zmcmqf.jpg)
Pianos 8/17 poster (http://i47.tinypic.com/5as8rd.jpg) (signed by Bates)

dammit, this sounds fantastic, how did I not even know about this

Awesome, man! I really envy you. BBD is at the very top of bands that I wanna see live, but I haven't had the chance to. Glad you had such a great time!

So now we have a vague release date! Cool. I had wondered why Ghost Rider had no lyrics, but then I thought about it and couldn't think of how they'd sound.

Thanks for the intel!

Dude, I love the pictures! Nice work. I've got an extra copy of the poster for the 8/17 gig if you're interested - in fact I've got extras of all of them. You probably missed it because they were a completely independent venture: I illustrated, designed, and printed them all on my own dime because (pardon the pun) I fucking love Big Black Delta. I wish I ran into you at the show - I would've given you a copy right there.

In any case, and this goes for anyone reading this, I'd be happy to print you up a new copy (or copies) and send 'em your way. I'd only ask that you cover shipping/printing costs. I gave Mr. Bates a care package of the "generic" posters for the remaining tour dates to do with as he pleased. I signed and numbered them all (edition of 20), so if you see him at a show and you think you want one, tell him I sent you - he may just have something for you. :)

Also, I think you can her me obnoxiously "woo"-ing in that video. Thanks for posting it, man. The audio quality doesn't matter: that was a special 3.5 minutes and I'm thankful it's been captured. That song alone exhausted me. Can't say I recommend jumping up and down with a heavy 11x17" portfolio, but in situations like that, it doesn't matter.

screwdriver: I remember hearing rumblings that BBD will be back on the East Coast in a few months. As soon as I hear anything, I'll share in this thread for other NYC-area fans. If it weren't for my brother who has some clever app that alerts you about your fav. bands' shows, I may've missed out, too. I think the band had too good a time not to come back at some point soon.

So, anyone interested in meeting up for the show with Jane's in Omaha this Saturday? Ehh? Ehhh?

My seats are Orchestra C, Row E. I paid $100 a piece through the Jane's Addiction website, but I'd just like $80 total for the ticket + Jane's autographed poster (which apparently won't ship for 6 weeks, but I can pay shipping). And if you just wanted the ticket, I guess $60? Just to cover gas for me getting there and back. Whatever, we can work out details if you're interested. Send me a PM if so!

I think this is the first time I've been more excited to see an opening act than a main act. :P

Holy shit. That show was stellar. I think it was even better when I talked to a few people before the show, and they said they either didn't know the opening band or heard they weren't very good from somebody. Once they started, eeeverybody was getting into it. I don't have a great big story I wanna bother typing out right now, though. :P But it was a really awesome night in general. I did see Jon during this drum circle that was going on in the lobby, with Navarro and Perkins and a few other members rotating in and out with people in the crowd. I really wanted to meet him, but I think we were both kinda impressed with what was going on, and I didn't wanna distract him or myself from the circle. :P

But yeah, it was a pretty sick night. The new BBD lineup was stellar, and if I get the chance to see them again, original members or not, within 3 hours driving distance, I'm there.

I did find a lady that wanted to buy my ticket, though. Let's just say that's the first and last time I meet somebody through craigslist without talking to them a bit first. Fucking cougars! "I'm 37! I have a 16-year-old daughter! Last time I saw Jane's Addiction, you were one year old! Is that weird to you?? I never wanna grow up! I feel like I have so much more life to live! You have sexy bald hair! You probably think I'm old! Are you sure it's not weird??"

No. Not at all. Totally not weird.

I wish there were some new songs on all these singles/remixes he keeps releasing. The non-remix songs are either something from the LP or the 1st EP. I hope the next LP has all new songs on it.

I read in an interview or something (maybe someone said it on the previous page) that Bates said the new album would be about half old material, half new material. If he's including all of the new material he's been playing live, I think that alone is gonna justify paying for the other 4 or 5 songs again.

That's disappointing to hear. It was the same story with Mellowdrone until the last LP. Unless by "old material" he meant songs not released yet.

It's not the interview I was thinking of, but here he specifies that Huggin' & Kissin', The Zebrah, and Capsize will be on the record. IFUCKINGLOVEYOU will be on there, too, if I remember right.

For whatever it's worth, I downloaded BBDLP1 free during that period of time where you could legitimately download it for free. If the next iteration has songs on BBDLP1, I'm not hurting any, and if you wait a little bit, you'll probably be able to legitimately download them for free.

I did the same. But I also ended up buying the physical product (which was cool, because I was surprised to find Jon's autograph inside the cover). I'm sure we'll have some more freebies on the way. But I know I'll just end up buying the album regardless of whether it's being given away or not, heh.

I wonder if the decision to include so many tracks from BBDLP1 comes from Jon just being busy? I mean, he has had a pretty busy year or so, what with remixing, producing, collaborating, performing...And he seems to really be coming out of his shell to the public, so maybe this is his way of saving some time on a full release AND giving new fans a connection with his last album. If they see "Capsize" on the new album, and then see it on BBDLP1, maybe they'll feel more inclined to go back and listen to that, as well.

It seems kinda strange, but I'm sure there's some kind of reasoning there. I'll buy a full album with a couple of old songs on it, but I'm not gonna buy EPs that have the same songs we've been given four times. That live EP? I'd be all over it if they were live recordings of the songs. But I've already got at least a couple copies of each of those songs somewhere.

He has a history of doing this. Just look through Mellowdrone's catalog of EPs and LPs. I thought he was running his own label now? I could understand him putting all those LP1 songs on LP2 if he were going to major label or good indie label, but that's not the case. I'm rather disappointed having already purchased LP1 on CD and both color vinyl versions. There will probably only be 4 - 5 new songs knowing him.

Well, though a lot of stuff was indeed repeated, much of it was different in some way. Like, listen to "Fashionably Uninvited" or "Beautiful Day" from ADOIP and compare them to their versions on Box. There are some pretty big differences there. Though I'll give you that "And Repeat" and "Bonemarrow" sound mostly the same across their releases.

There are some pretty big differences there. Though I'll give you that "And Repeat" and "Bonemarrow" sound mostly the same across their releases. Part of me is hoping that he makes some minor changes to the older songs on the new album, like he did with Mellowdrone. I think while I was searching for the never-ending catalog of rare Mellowdrone shit, I was just surprised at home many songs re-appeared in a different form. Another good example is "Oh My" and "Wonderful Day." Even the acoustic version of "Oh My" was slower and had a different vibe, but that was partially because I heard that before I heard the Box version. Love 'em all. :P Oh yeah, and I have some videos from the other night I can upload. I didn't wanna spend the whole set taping things, so I just got four I think. Some of it might be trailing away from the stage, but I was watching the actual performance more than I was my iPod screen. :P Here's one. I think it's Nanners, judging from it's spot in their set. (I hadn't heard it OR Suit & Tie before the show, so forgive me if I mixed them up.) It's not great, iPod quality, but eh.

Dude. Wow. That's not Nanners or Suite & Tie - that's something completely new (and fucking awesome I might add)! Jon Bates using a guitar on stage for Big Black Delta?! I think you may have captured a historic moment in the band's (fledgling) history! I don't know about anyone else, but I got a very SebastiAn vibe from that song, and that's a good thing in my book.

So... if the next LP is gonna be half old songs (hopefully at least somewhat updated like you guys said), and half new ones, the new tracks we can likely look forward to are:

-Left Out
-Suite & Tie
-Nanners/Ghost Rider
-This crazy new jam that Alrea posted

That's 4 right there, and I'm hoping we get one more new one for good measure. Not bad if that's the case! New art from Caspar/Version, too, hopefully? Considering he did new some stellar new art for both IFUCKINGLOVEYOU and Betamax, I think that's a foregone conclusion.

Can't say as I'm overly impressed with the remixes... Perhaps because the original songs are so brilliant, they can't be improved upon. However, the Sonoio mix of Betamax takes it in a completely different direction and is sheer genius

Thats the track list I received. For some reason, it seems like BBDLP1 is/was a "non-release", and that the new album is "the real deal"...

I got kinda confused too with the "new" LP. It seam LP1 was a limited release to a 150 copies or so according to discogs I tracked down a vinyl rip back in '11. Excited for the new video. Big fan of Hornbrook from the PTW days.

Really, that many tracks released again? I'm unlikely to buy it again, and I'm a big fan. It would be one thing to carry over a few tracks, but at this point, why not just reissue LP1 and wait til you have some more songs to fill out a new release?

I love the new video! Bates has some seriously great moves. The "moment" half-way through the video is so brilliant. I don't who's responsible for that idea, but it makes the video for me.

Also, Big Black Delta Archive (http://www.facebook.com/BBDarchive) confirmed that the upcoming album will have "Ghost Rider" as a bonus track (at least for the digital version) - fuck yeah!! You can listen to samples of the entire LP on iTunes UK. Unfortunately, the release date looks like it might have been pushed back to the end of April, but that's not too bad of a delay. Apparently there will be a bonus disc of remixes as well. Not bad.

Also there will be a "Side of the Road" remix EP.

TinDefacto

Yeah, I usually don't "love" music videos, but this one is really awesome, and it's made me like the song a lot more (I was really not impressed with it at first).

Judging by the track previews on iTunes UK, it looks like "Left Out" has been renamed "Into the Night". They all sound great!

And though I also am irritated at the fact that so many songs now have been released thrice, I guess I can kinda see where Jon's going with this. He now has his own real label and wanted to re-release BBDLP1 to be more accessible, and also with more songs to be an actual full-length thing. The new singles are the same thing; he's just trying to get more people to know hear about him, which I think is great. I could totally imagine some of his songs being played on the radio.

Kind of pissed at myself for buying the FLAC version of BBDLP1 off the Topspin site a week ago with the new version right around the corner. But since I stumbled onto the page through a google search, and got the feeling the album wasn't supposed to be available anymore I figured I should grab it while I could.

Maybe I'll just take the extra tracks from the new version when it comes out and name them BBDEP2.

Jon responded on BBD FB to somebody who asked about duplicated songs on BBDLP1 and BBD -

Christian,
Sorry to hear of your disappointment. There were only 250 copies made of the limited version of the LP you have. This new version has 5-6 new songs and is getting a more proper, international release. Theres no pressure to get this new LP, as you're always welcome to rip or torrent the new songs. Doesn't bother me, as Im flattered when people share my music in any form. Hope this finds you well.

Hey guys,

Wanted to drop you all a note to say that i'm excited to officially announce my new album, that will drop on 29th April. This new album contains 6 brand new tracks which I feel make the album complete.*Those of you who bought/ripped/shared the tracks I gave away via my site a while back - thank you for the support, and i hope you enjoy these new songs as much as I did making them.*For you early birds, I'll be making the 6 new tracks available on my own store as a separate EP. You'll also be able to get the full album on vinyl from the store shortly. Stay tuned for when these go live...Can't wait to share this new music with you all. Flattered that you care.
