In the course of my research, I have had to code or modify image processing programs. The evaluation and debugging process turned up some interesting accidents that I thought looked pretty cool. Thanks to Rob Sheridan's appearance in IdN (http://idnworld.com/mags/?id=v18n3), I learned that this fell under so-called Glitch art, and have been exploring this further ever since.
