How to make a compilation album?

Hello all, I'm a huge fan of live compilation albums much like the ones that some guy made of Nine Inch Nails throughout the years. Now, I want to make one for my personal use and such of all Nine Inch Nails songs live. How do I do that?

Take songs that you like, arrange them in an order you like, save the playlist

Is it possible to do with iTunes?
