i took a huge break from making music (8 months or so, cold turkey) but got the bug again and have a new project, called The Harrow. @halo33 (http://www.echoingthesound.org/community/member.php?u=376) is involved in this one as well, and we have a female singer. our debut track was just released today via Function Operate, and we'll have a full debut cassette/digital release coming this spring. http://functionoperate.bandcamp.com/track/the-harrow-violets

the trailer for the last play my theatre company did was shot outside on frozen lake michigan on a 10° day with negative windchills. our lead actor was wearing a cowboy hat, shirt, pants, & a duster. i got chills just watching it while i was doing the sound/music. i can only imagine what it was like for you guys to have to be "playing" your instruments out there. (did that affect them at all? i imagine the necks of the guitar & bass weren't too happy.)

we used a lot of knockaround gear for the shoot, without too much pressure in case things did get ruined in the process. no way was i going to bring a juno 60 out into that weather!
