I figured if we have a thread for Adventure Time, why not for Regular Show? I'm in the minority that thinks this is the better show. It's absurd and hilarious on many levels and probably the best representation of friendship on TV. Also, Rigby is the best character on TV.

One of my favorite moments of the show:

Anyone else a fan?

Hell yes!
This show is the best!
Don't really find myself watching Adult Swim at all lately, instead I watch Regular Show
Surprised, this show seems like it would be suited for Adult Swim
Adventure Time is alright

It seems more aimed at 20-30 something year olds rather than kids with its references

i don't know about you guys, but i'm such a sap when it comes to emotions on cartoon shows, and i cried twice during the last episode because it made me so happy.

anyway, i love regular show and adventure time pretty equally, but for different reasons. both are fantastic and absurd.

Thank God for that! I got the two DVD's they've released for the show, but it's only a handful of episodes. This is going to be fucking awesome!

Nothing more awkward than watching the naked Pops episode in the waiting room of a car dealership and having a mother and daughter walk in on you.

Don't stare at our crotches while we synchronize our watches!

I'll add the fact that each time Mordecai and Rigby do a rap together is amazing.

it's technically "crimping," which is something that j.g. quintel borrowed from The Mighty Boosh. if you read interviews, he talks about how that show inspired him a lot. i didn't think about it until after i read that, but now that i know, it's impossible not to see boosh in regular show.

There was one during the Christmas special that made me laugh, and they were doing it over the phone for Margret, and it ended with them going "tape, tape, wrap, bow" and it killed me for whatever reason.

I love that this show's origins are from a pair of store clerks tripping on acid:

someone told me they read an interview with JG Quintel wherein he stated that the show is basically an extension of that premise; that mordecai & rigby are two friends who dropped acid and never came back from their trip.

guess no one has posted in here for quite some time (almost exactly four years).

the show ended (for good) last night. my wife and i watched the final episodes tonight.

it has literally been part of our entire relationship. we started watching it the first weekend she stayed at my place.

it never got bad, it never got old or lost my interest, and it was always so much fun (even when it made me cry). i can't stop crying right now because it feels so weird that there won't be any more episodes, ever.
