Hello and Happy New Year, welcome to the next installment of the ETS Mix Exchange.

-Anyone that's interested posts in this thread.
-We decide on a theme
-The user creates a mix tape/disc revolving around that theme
-Everyone gets paired up and swaps/mails out their mixes! -Enjoy!

-Everyone that opts in will be assigned someone to send their mix to.
-Each mixer is to send a physical copy of their mix* (Optical or Flash Memory, no obnoxious formats please.) *If you're fanatically opposed to physical media, it's permissible to send a digital mix. However I'm sure it'd be appreciated if you sent something in lieu, like a card, poker chip, pygmy marmoset, whatever.
-Being part of a NIN community, there's no need to make them or other obvious artists (Nothing Records, etcetera) a part of you mix.
-If you fail to send your mix, you will not be included in future exchanges.

That's what you think, but the recipient of your mix might just hear a few songs that they had never heard before and vis versa. No perfection or judgement here, just sharing. And sharing is caring. Alright too much caffeine already. Lets us know if your in. Once we get an even amount of folks to sign up, I'll Make partners and PM each.

Part of the fun of this exchange is picking your songs based on the theme, the other is the tiny secret of who you receive from and if they include a small goodie from their next of the woods. I still have the cardboard pencil holder from the recruitment office of British Intelligence. ;)

Early I suggested February 24 as the day to have your mix in the mail. That's a Sunday and now that the US Post Office has stopped Saturday service, we'll just push this to Monday, February 25th.

Please post when you have sent (just don't say who you sent to), and when you have received.

I went to the post office this morning. Since my package is international and not completely flat (ok it's a thumb drive) I have to fill out a customs form - oh bullocks! Of course I had to get out of line which was 15 persons long with only 1 person behind the counter. FML. Tomorrow - I promise.

Funny thing, I would trade getting a piece in the mail. It's lie old school pen pal-ish.

Yes, I did! As stated above I've received it a couple weeks ago. Thanks a lot! Listened to it a couple times already - especially while working at home. Very chilling, nice selection. I will ripp this to mp3 soon, so I can listen to this while driving to work. Also, the whole thing was nicely packaged... in line with the theme and all. I appreciate your effort very much.
