Well sadly they've broken up (this is semi old news), as Dallas wants to focus on City & Colour. One of the most intense live bands ever, I had the privilege of seeing them about 10 times over the last decade, but missed them on their last tour, unbeknownst it would be their last.

However they have put shit behind them to do 9 proper farewell shows this year, in the UK, Brazil, AUS, and their native Canada.

I always only enjoyed Dallas Green. Great band nonetheless.

I saw them once, they were performing before Billy Talent and the sound was so godamn loud that even if I knew all the songs, I didn't understand a thing.

FYI They added two more Toronto dates, a BC date, and an official FINAL show in the Hammer at Copps Coliseum.

They had a good run.

I heard that they were suppossed to write a really brutal heavy record before the broke up. Any truth to this?

regarding the "really brutal heavy record" that turned into the Dog's Blood EP.

I just saw them last week in Vancouver, amazing. So glad I could make it out to one of the farewell shows.
