How is there not a thread for The Presets? I absolutely love their stuff, but they haven't made anything in ages.

Anyways, it looks like there's something new brewing because they just posted a link to this website (http://youthintrouble.com/) on all their various social media stuff. So yeah, I'm pumped for an ARG or something leading up to their new album.

Yes, def a fan. I think there was an old thread before the board was redone, anyway. Youth in Trouble sounds pretty cool, keen to hear the rest of the album.

I heard their new track, Youth in Trouble, on Triple J a couple weeks ago. Wasn't overly impressed. It's a whole lotta build ups to nothing. I guess it's just not my style though, I much prefer their all out party songs like My People, rather than the repetitive house/trance/whatever it is stuff.

Yeah fairnuf, does seem to build a lot with out going anywhere, it's enough for me to check out the album without getting me really excited.

The Presets just put out their 4th album HI VIZ last week, and it's way better than their last one IMO. They're also touring this fall with Blood Red Shoes - tickets on sale today. I think this is their first Detroit show so I'm pretty excited!
