No encore? Not that anyone can complain, that was the best fucking setlist ever.

Apparently confusion. 2 mic stands brought out, house music is playing, and nobody's leaving.
EDIT: tearing the stage down now. It's over. I find that to be exhilirating. I also still wet the bed..

Most epic set ever. Though, no Wish? I'd give up THTF for that one. I think the "two mic" thing and no encore leaves something to talk about...if the set wasn't enough to keep us occupied already...

Is there any fans out there that actually think to themselves "I sure hope they play THTF! Wouldnt be a proper show without it!" or do they just groan in resignation like myself and everyone i know?
Fucking kill it.
Honestly, yeah. I'm, I guess, more of an "old school" fan, With Teeth is far from my favorite NIN album and Hand That Feeds in particular is a rare NIN tune I generally skip past. But it's actually one of my favorite live songs and people always seem to go crazy for it the 6 or so times I've seen it played. I don't know what it is about it, but that song just fucking THUMPS live. I'm always happy to have it.

NINhotline tweeted that they saw the setlist before the show started, and they were the first to point out that it was time for people to leave.
If they had planned an encore with a special guest, NINhotline would have known. Just a stage tech messing with people, or picking up a dropped one or something.

I bet he's looking to cut down on as much overlap as possible, what with playing 3 or 4 consecutive nights. I'm sure it'll be there tomorrow night, unlike me. (it still hurts)

If Trent's true to his alleged word about never playing TDS in order again, I'd say no. Caveat for an "all Fragile, all the time" show, but for some reason I feel like that isn't very likely. I hope I'm not proven wrong about that in the coming weeks.

All I saw was "We're trying to get some ultra zoom shots of the setlist. No luck, but it looks MASSIVE. Again." They didn't get to actually see it, according to that tweet, just tried.

Playing nothing off of The Fragile tonight keeps me intrigued for more surprises...he has to save something for the other shows, right?

Dude, appreciate the show for 5 seconds before you start asking how can it be made better!
Don't get me wrong, this was the show of a lifetime without a doubt, I just thought that something like this was an impossibility. I know he's said never again would he play TDS like this, but now I have to ask myself: What are the odds that he plays another album in the same fashion sometime in the next few weeks? Most epic tour ever, you say?

nothing from the Fragile makes the "best most epic set ever" null and void IMHO.
Hooray for Warm Place, but I'd prefer the show I got in KC over tonight.

Which was immediately followed by: "HOLY SHIT" and @ninwiki with "Tonights setlist will blow you away" and again @ninhotline with "Oh this show is going to own. I hope someone is videotaping."
I'm pretty sure they got a readable shot.

As much as I wish that I could have been there to hear such a unique live performance, it makes me even more excited for the L.A. show I'll be attending. For the first time in a while, it really looks like the possibilities are endless as to what each show will be. I'm left wondering, "what's next?" Aside from possible guests, what covers might he play? I recall he solicited a list of covers on his old Twitter account, so, how insane would it be to do an entire night of covers? Again, it looks like anything is possible and I can't wait to see what the next show brings.

An entire night of covers would be terrible.
Based on what's been played so far, I bet that the response he got reminded him that Metal & Americans were covers.

If anybody has a video or link to A Warm Place live, I would LOVE to hear that. Sounds like a great show!
