Just got out recorded about 3/4 of the show. Sounds like others did well. Got told to stop once so I just moved.

taped the show audio and video. the audio sounds AMAZING!!!! like 100x better than the other shows I have done! I am transferring the video right now but when I was doing it, it really looked good.
The best show I have seen. More to come. time to party!

really sad that the US shows in april/may and the european shows in the summer might be the last ones
awesome that they're doing them as a four piece though, i hope they do a lot of re-works and bring back a lot of old songs they haven't done in ages.
"get it while you can"... :'-(

I hate Vegas; the waiting area for this venue was an absolute clusterfuck.
I kind of wish that they'd announced that Alessandro was leaving before today; it was strange to find out in the last 15 minutes of the concert. TR said that they'll be starting up as a 4 piece with the shows in Australia, then he announced that there will be shows in the US in April then some shows in Europe next year (09). No word on what would be happening beyond that.
The setlist was a song shorter than previous nights. Someone moved the camera normally on the light guy to the guys next to him during Survivalism; they weren't quite as active as the light guy.
I had fun before meeting some people from nin.com and ets; it was nice to put faces with names.

dude the video is also CRISPY!!! there were times when the security guards were coming around and I had to dip the camera though. But other than that very solid static shot!

pre-sale clusterfuck aside........there were some moments of greatness in this show. JMJ and Robin were scorchin!! i was in the seventh row on the isle. Perfect view. Practically sold my soul during the frail, hoping for the wretched (had not seen it this tour), still surreal to feel let down with closer. TBCD fucking rocks. period. BH from Perfect Circle was across the isle, i think his dog must have died today. Ron Jeremy was up a couple rows. That being said, announcing Alessandro leaving kinda took my attention away from the show. Change is hard!! I was ready for some emotion with josh leaving, but i am suddenly saddened and also excited to see what might come in the stripped down four man group.
Obligatory btiching as follows: If you are a fan, but your signficant other is not. Keep them home. I had a guy in front of me checking his watch and sitting through the ghosts set till the end of the show. This saddens me greatly. I stared at him and flashed a small knife LOL but he did not budge.
Traveling this far for a show may seem strange to many, but i wanted to be a part of this. Reptile was the most amazing expereince. But i will take a NIN show in the middle of iowa any day over vegas. People dressed up, heels, BLAH, NIN is not about going and watching god damn it. Get off your ass and give the man some respect.''
looking forward to hearing about the US dates with the new foursome
thanks TR....tonight you were recognized by your peers
. No better compliment,
thanks for keeping me sober one more day

Link doesnt seem to work. Unless Yahoo is actually updating and have been for the last couple of hours...
While I'm posting here, I may as well ask, did Trent talk much about it being the last show? And did he mention anything about the fans recording the show?

^ No. He didn't mention anything about the taping. I don't really think he can talk about knowing that people are taping.... so yeah.
Trent's speech was quite funny. He talked for quite a while - or more so than what I think he has in the past.
He introduced the band, looked at and read a sign that said something like "Big Fucking Titties, what about Grannie Panties?" - with Trent making an off hand comment about how it's "good to be him". He went on to say that it's the last show, and he's looking forward to packing away all the stage, maybe installing it in his house so he can watch porn on it. Then he announced that this was Alessandro and Josh's last show, which was a huge shock for a lot of people. He brought up the emo post he made the other day about not touring anymore, and sounded as though he wanted to stop rumors (I'm hoping?). Said that the band would be a stripped down, four piece for the shows in 2009, AND IN APRIL - they would be doing some shows in the states again! He said "get it while it's hot" because these will be the last for a while. And also, when discussing that the band members were leaving, he said he was getting emotional... "teary eyed"... I can't wait to hear the audio of this. It was an epic speech.

I really enjoyed it. I was going to leave early to score a bar table, but after the Alessandro Announcement, I decided to just space out and enjoy the end of the show....
I have 35 minutes of HD video shot from the balcony - from Gave Up to ghosts Piggy (plus a minute or two of the Warning). I'm aiming to torrent it next week (and send to Torgo). Almost static, but my arms did ache quite a bit near the end - should be good. And the sound is pretty good!
PS - we're still partying in the ETS room hehehe

I was undecided about going to this show, up until this past Tuesday. I am definitely glad I decided to come. It was a great show, probably my favorite of the tour after Atlantic City.
Someone said that there were 80 presale tickets for the pit. One of the security people told me that there were going to be 120 total in the pit. Those other 40 must have all driven up from LA. (If you know LA crowds, then you know what I mean). There were men wearing suit jackets. The guy next to me on the rail kept leaving to go to the bar. When Robin handed me a bottle of water, he turned to me and said, "Oh, you know Trent, that's so cool." Me, I am always one for the snappy comeback, so I say, "Yeah, for the last few months we have had a date at 9pm a couple times a week." He kept going on about how this show was so much better than Duran Duran. Last time I saw them was 1984, so I don't have much of a reference point for that.
I was really glad that they played Reptile and The Great Destroyer. I hadn't seen those in the last couple of weeks. I was slightly disappointed that there was no LITS. Looks like we'll never get that with the screens.
The thing that I have observed lately is that there does seem to be more cohesiveness (not the word that I really want, but can't think of a better one) to Robin, Trent and JMJ playing. There were nights that Alessandro definitely seemed like the odd man out. I am really interested to see where this goes from here. Its probably going to be a lot of work to rearrange the songs in order for a four piece band to play them. But, I guess there won't be a lot of production planning if it is a stripped down stage design. Even though I know that there will be shows in the US in the spring, I am really tempted to go to Auckland to see the first show. Anyone got an extra pre-sale?

Yeah, I cried at last night's show. It had such a feeling of finality. I was on rail between TR and Robin. Great view, of course, but sound in that area was terrible, especially TR's vocals. I'm glad to hear sound was great from seats and look forward to seeing everyone's video.
I was surprised at the full LITS set up since I'd heard rumors it was going to be more AC-like show. That was a great surprise.
I spent a great deal of show watching Josh. He kicked the shit out of the end of (Ghost) Piggy. He really is a machine - a fucking amazing machine. I will miss him a great deal.
Alessandro leaving was such a shock. I wish we had known beforehand. There were 3 signs on rail and each mentioned Josh. It would have been nice to thank Alessandro too for his brilliant contribution to NIN. After TR announced his leaving, I went to text O, and I noticed she had texted me the same much earlier. I wish I had read it earlier.
BTW -- I wasn't the only one sad last night. Robin was getting really teary-eyed during his final bow on ITT.
Last, I love my ETS peeps. Sorry I stayed so long and kept you guys up. After we left, we headed back to PH bar to pull an all-nighter. Pansies! :p
