From her myspace, (NSFW) http://i38.tinypic.com/2gsl4qd.jpg I'm assuming Love's referencing Closer instead of thinking she came up with some lyrics.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if she's convinced herself that she came up with those lyrics. And then that would mean Trent stole them from her.

The WEBN Riverfest fireworks featured a remix of "Discipline" and I think 20 Ghosts III. Watched a tivo of it today. (Four years in a row with NIN songs featured. Someone really likes them.)

I love how the Billboard.com article references 'ninremixes.com' as the official NIN remix site.

Full article, as posted on nin hotline:

I just saw that on the Hotline. Even though we know all that info here, that's a pretty fucking good article, especially to have any non-NIN-fan friends read.

I did laugh at the one mistake with ninremixes.com but oh well, give the fan-site some hits! (People interested will find the official one on their own I suppose.)

I was looking at the back of a pack of "Ernie Ball" guitar strings (you know where they list all of the bands that "use" their strings) and around the top was NIN; I had a small laugh.

Me and my friends were hanging out earlier and CSI was on. I've only seen a few episodes and I wasn't really paying attention but Slipping Away off Things Falling Apart came on and I was like "Haha, that's NIN!". They just laughed at how excited I got. I've heard that they play some NIN on CSI, but i'd just thought i'd mention it. Smile

Philadelphia show review:
Nine Inch Nails, still driving

wow... an intense postmodern spectacle... and it gets even "better": Industrial music is about the intersection of man and machine, drawing sonic tropes from the pneumatic wheeze of moving parts, and taking lyrical cues from the existential exigencies of life in a mechanized world. This article is surely not short of embellishments...
