You know what to do. And you don't wanna know what'll happen to you if you post in here and weren't there.

So he couldn't play the slow (usually best) part of the show because of circumstances beyond his control. (I still would rather have heard ghosts stuff with no visuals than had him skip the whole thing)-

but did he have to stiff us on in this twilight also?!?!?

Still it was a good show. (even if he did play somewhere around 11 less songs tonight than last night).

I decided last minute to get in the pre-sale line at like 1:30 p.m., and I still made rail (wild)--front and center'ish. Awesome show...even though the energy of the show in Michigan was ten times better (a.k.a. ten times the amount of pain). I got into this show a whole lot, and on a comfortable level, as much as I was in pain across the whole chest. I only wish he would've put in some extra/special songs with the dropping of the Ghosts material, y'know? Ah...whatever...I'm glad I went there in the end (I didn't wanna regret it in case there was special stuff), now I can take a definite break til' Philly, which will probably be brutal. Everyone was ten times more respectable versus those in Michigan (no surprise). Thank you all on rail/behind rail, you know who you are. Good times.

It certainly wasn't 11 less songs than previous shows, more like 5 or 6

Was that the Meathead funbook that people on the rail were holding up? I know TR said something to security up front and I think they got taken away.

It's too bad we didn't get In This Twilight, that was probably my highlight from Cleveland and Detroit. I still got my Year Zero fix with Me I'm Not and TGD instead of the Warning and Vessel. Meet Your Master was pretty sweet too.

GREAT show!! My sister and I were on the rail to the right of Robin. I missed not having the Ghosts stuff, but I loved seeing him in the smaller setting! He was very talkative and that was great!

Nice intimate show. I never thought I'd say this but Ohio had a much nicer crowd than Michigan. Fewer drunks and teenyboppers.
Just got back to Detroit after fighting oragne barrels. I tried to stop by the ballpark and get some relief picthing.

I taped the whole show and most of A Place to Bury Strangers. I missed the begining because there was only one entrance to get onto and off of the main floor and it was a long long line. It felt like a fire hazard to me.
I will post them in FLAC tomorrow. Time for bed.

Here is an mp3 sample. It's only the second time ever played and first time recorded apart from YouTube clips. Calgary was the first.

Ok, I went back and counted the number of songs on the 23rd, vs today. It's 9, not 11. Still enough for me to be a little disappointed.

None the less, it was a good show, and there were some amazing visuals.

Now if I can just figure out how to get my hands on a Demon Seed or Echoplex shirt...

Hopefully soon the merch site will be our friend.

One word: tuncated!

I'm not one to complain, so i won't. Good show, though even being front n center I didn't break a sweat. Which is odd for a nin show. A much less rowdy crowd then detroit. but that's to be expected.

He also apologized for the venue fuck up and that, due to his throat, he sounded like tom waits. haha. He introduced the band and said that some of the peeps in the front row might as well be in the band too cuz they're at every show. you know who you are.

The venue itrself was cool. we got too hang out all day inside and listen to my ipod full o' nin for 4 hours. The security guys were thorough in letting us now what was up.

Did the band react to the meathead coloring pages? I'm glad I brought the crayons, but I seem to be missing one...if anyone's seen it, let me know.

ok, one gripe: what the f- is up with the c*cktease of Frail into Closer. I'm pretty sure a big boo went up from the front rows. Maybe it was just me.

Awesome, I was hoping someone was taping this show. Thanks! Meet Your Master sounds great.

This writeup will be a bit all over the place since I'm still giddy as hell right now, but here we go:

This show was probably the best concert I've ever been to. Got on the rail right in front of JMJ, somehow. The venue was tiny, and the pit was fairly tame. Made for a much more intimate-feeling show. Even though we didn't get the entire light show, and we didn't get certain songs, it was amazing. Hearing The Great Destroyer and Meet Your Master more than made up for the missing Ghosts songs for me. Would have been nice to have In This Twilight though.

Trent seemed really talkative tonight, even though he said he was in a bad mood. ("I'm old, my voice sucks, the lights aren't all here, Alessandro's on his period...", "Thank you to all 200 of you that showed up.", "We are going to play nothing but Year Zero songs from now on, and we'll prove it to you right now.") It's nice to hear him talk in between songs several times.

I took a few photos and a couple videos (don't know if it has audio; this is a friend's camera), but I won't know how they came out until tomorrow. If any of them are decent I'll post them.

Oh, I really enjoyed APTBS too. I have their album and was excited to see them tonight.

I'd like to write more but nothing is coming to mind right now for some reason. I'll post more tomorrow maybe.

I also loved it when he said something along the line of "welcome to the homecoming dance, all 200 of you." to funny
