This is a screen saver I created a few months ago that includes the With Teeth PDF and all the songs of With Teeth (including Home).

Basically, the screen randomly scrolls around the poster, and when it reaches one of the song lyrics, it plays that song. Depending on how far away the screen is from the song, the volume will fade in or out - it also pans from left to right in your speakers. Also, when it gets to the "unreleased songs" (Message to No One...) it plays a static like sound, fading in and out just like the songs. You can also control the screen's movement with your arrow keys.

The final effect of this is really cool, and I am very proud of it, and I hope you guys enjoy it! Smile

I'm not sure of the system requirements, but you do have to have a fairly good system for it to run smoothly. I'd give it a try on anything you have though, because I haven't really tested it on more than two machines.

Also, I have made it compatible with normal screens and wide screens! Just click your corresponding download.

Instructions:
Download it, Unzip it all to the same folder (WinRar or equivalent), Right click the file that says either "World Of With_Teeth V5.scr" -or- "With Teeth Widescreen.scr" and click install.

I hope you like it!

Widescreen Version

ALSO:
Survivalism Collage - Collage of the Survivalism music video monitors (I will be making a YZ version of this screen saver with this collage Smile)

^^ I second that question, I'm not really a screensaver person but for that, I'll make an exception.

Well, I'm giving it a go anyhow. I'm pretty sure you're right about it possibly not working but I figure it doesn't hurt to try.

Edit: Nope, doesn't work but I can play the .OGG files and view the .JPEG.

My advice to you, Mac users, is to possibly download a Windows emulator(?)... if you REALLY want to see the screensaver Smile

Or... someone could point me in the direction of a free screen-video+audio-capture program, and I could upload it to youtube?

Edit: I'm going to bed, so I expect a helluvalota comments on this when I get back, alright? (heh heh, just kidding Very Happy)

Wow... just, wow. I downloaded and installed your screen saver, and it is amazing. I've never been one for screen savers (in fact, I haven't used so much as a Windows default one since I installed Windows on this machine over a year ago) but I had to check this one out. I love the With Teeth lyric poster, and the concept was intriguing. I have the widescreen version running on my 32" LCD and it is amazing. The poster looks extremly sharp, the music sounds perfect, and fades in and out exactly as described. Anyone running Windows should at least give this a shot. Kudos on a job well done.

Does it really go randomly? Because each time it loads for me it just goes to eDiets. And then refuses to move. At all.

If it wasn't ediets I'm sure I'd love it, great work.

edit: heh, stopped doing it now. brilliant!

Thank you! I really like it too, and I was actually thinking of doing a Year Zero version using the surveillance "wall 'o t.v.'s" from the Survivalism music video. I just need to get an extremely high quality video of it, and I can piece together the TV's in photoshop. I would then choose which monitor I feel would work with each song. To expand on this, I might make a mode where it plays the remixes as well.

I just need the extremely high quality video to start!

Edit: I'm DL'ing a torrent of it now... but don't expect it finished any time soon, I've got work+school+apartment to take care of, so time is not on my side at the moment.

Very cool. I installed it and then dropped my eldest boy off at karate class. When I got back to the house, it was to the sounds of your screensaver coming from upstairs. Sweet Smile.

A Year Zero one based on the monitors would be awesome. Of course, then you'll have to do one for each album. Can open. Worms everywhere.

Great stuff!
