Look whose photo Rolling Stone decided to use in its story to compile a list of the "Most Outrageous Videos:"

but it's a weeird situation
If it's a weird situation that you have a legitimate reason for being involved in other than your wanting to stalk people who know/knew Trent Reznor, then it's probably better that you discuss it with close friends/family instead of discussing it on a NIN fan board.

Well, the Academy Award winning Lara Croft: Tomb Raider was on TBS tonight, so of course Deep was playing in the background during the dead zone/tundra/whatever scene.

If you'll please excuse me, I need to go make a withdrawal.

Yeah, I started watching around that part. My friend had never seen Tomb Raider, but since it's a shitty movie, it didn't matter that we watched the end. I totally explained the "I going to go make a withdrawal" line to her.

This probably an old spotting but I saw it for the first time today.

http://torontoist.com/2007/04/thank_god_for_t.php

Scroll down to the last half of the page for BoB Ezrin's letter.

My favorite part of the article...

"He's an intensely determined person—aware and on top of everything that happens in his name, from his music to his marketing. Trent controls all things Trent. Yes, he's had help along the way, but he's the captain of the Trent ship and his career is a product of his imagination and drive. He is not manufactured, homogenized, manipulated or packaged. He is Trent—and the rest of the folks get to react."

Already posted? This weeks Kerrang magazine and a short interview with TR about the recent Kerrang awards. Credit goes to The_Great_Destroyer over at BSF.

Kerrang wrote:
How are you feeling?
Trent Reznor (vocals): “I have a weird social anxiety and I’ve never, ever attended an awards ceremony for anything, this is the first one.”

What made you make an exception?
Trent: “I felt somewhat of an obligation because I was flattered that you honoured me with this. But the whole backslapping…I don’t know a lot of the bands here and I hate a lot of the other bands to be quite honest with you.”

How did you prepare your speech?
Trent: “I didn’t at all, and if you heard my speech you’d know that there was zero degree of preparation involved! But you want to know what I’d LIKE to say? I think that when I got signed you were encouraged to change the world and do something different and really try to make art, and that really wasn’t that long ago. And it seems like now all anybody tries to do is get famous and get rich, and record companies are encouraging that because they want everything to sounds like what’s selling because they need to make money. There’re far too many musician willing to suck dicks to get that limelight and as a result, the music is shitty,. There’s a whole slew of people here that I hope are here because they want to be famous and that’s not the best music they can make, otherwise they should kill themselves immediately.”

Haha....I love his mixture of high-and-mighty pontificating and telling people to go kill themselves.

He might not be the most eloquent speaker, but he makes a damn good point.
