i apologize if this post is in the wrong spot, i just didn't see anyone else talking about it. an hour ago i was on the year zero page and between the trailer links and the song listings were three splotched up pixel things. they were links to 3 videos. then a few minutes ago, i checked back and the links were gone. i kind of think it was a mistake or something, but i was able to download them with quicktime pro. i don't know if the videos were clues or what (i haven't really followed this game much and i don't know what to look for). anyway, that's it, again, sorry if this post isn't where it should be. pm me or e-mail me and i'll forward you the videos. i'm going to see if i can figure out how to post to youtube too, never done that before, i suppose it's easy.

I'm calling a big pile of bullshit. You can't just accidentally put links to videos in a live site. Especially in the form of an image map. Secondly, assuming they did somehow put links in by accident, more than one person would have got them, and they would be all over youtube/sendspace by now. There is no way that only one person in the entire world got the links, not when there are people running bots checking the code every couple seconds for changes.

First off, here at ETS we do not "call bullshit". We perfer to use the term "shenanigan." So when on the forum, and believe someone to not be telling the truth, you must say "I declare shenanigans!". Then everyone else runs back to their house and gets a broom to beat the person with. Like so:

Secondly. Sure, websites accidently post things up then remove them all the time. It happens quite a bit. No reason to believe he isn't telling the truth. And hopefully, we'll have the videos soon as proof.

Why not just upload them to www.megaupload.com

Or better yet while you are at it, why not describe these videos?

First thing i noticed was 27.4.12 thats not even close to any number code we found yet

Though the images seem to be legit, but hell most of us have been using photo programs latly & its easy to make a fake with a image.

What were the initial filenames? Official clues generally seem to contain a number somewhere.

EDIT: 27.4.12 is on the first one. Is halo 27 YZ-2, maybe?

EDIT2: After thinking about it more, a number like 27.4.12 would be completely out of phase with everything weve seen so far, for more than just the reason that 27 isn't 24. The numbers on the right are usually low. 12 is way too high to be a collection of clues, and so far, every number seems to relate to a specific collection of clues.

I'm not vouching for this either way, but regarding the numbers, it's entirely possible that these videos were meant to be posted after the official CD release.

It may be that what we've been getting is sort of the first course of this ARG leading up to Feb. 10 0000 and that after Year Zero is released we'll start getting further information which will be identified with a 27 (so, maybe halo 27 will be Year Zero 2)?

well if it is a fake, those are some damn good quality productions for random clues to be sent out.
