Alright guys i tried searching for threads that contained anything remotely related to NIN tats and could fine nothing. So i figured i would start this thread so we could all discuss our tattoos or future tats we plan on getting. I myself am planning on getting the AIR flag tattooed, but im not too sure yet. What do yall think?

i have 19 tattoos and they are all original. Respectfully, I think if you "brand" yourself with a band/movie/logo, you will one day regret it.

Just llke getting your girlfriends name.

When my buddy was 21, he got the star wars rebel symbol on the back of his leg, and it was really cool. now that he is 35, a banker and father of two... not so much.

just something to consider.

tattoos should be personal and individualized. just my 2 cents.

here is one of mine. it's an angel....

The tats on my arms are original designs by me, but on the back of my neck I have "nothing can stop me now" in the tds font. The way I see it, NIN fans will get it, non-NIN fans will just think it's a cool phrase, and unless I've got my hair in a ponytail, no one can see it anyway!

Yeah that sounds really cool. The NIN tat i have on my back is basically the cover of With Teeth. I really like it alot and most of friends like it as well. I would upload the pic but i dont know how. Can anyone show me how?

I think it would be awesome to have TR sign my forearm and then for me to get it tattooed.

That would be liek so hardcore. And totally not creepy at all.

heh.

I wonder why I thought I'd be an original NIN fan if I got "nothing can stop me now"... Oh well. We'll be tattoo twins. Except I might do a different font style. Maybe. And a different spot. But yay! You should put up a picture of it.

So what do you all think of me wanting to get the AIR flag tattooed. I want to get it because I believe in what it stands for. Not just cause it looks cool. It bothers me that many people nowadays only get tattoos because they think it looks cool, but it has no significant meaning. I really appreciate what Trent is trying to do and I love that the one symbol (the AIR flag), sums it all up.

Nope, its not the Arch De Triomphe as some people tend to think. It's my Broken Tattoo. Had it done over a year now. When I got it done, I thought it would look good without an outline. However, it doesn't, so that's on my to do list.

If I ever get a NIN-ish tattoo, it would prolly be the cover art from Pretty Hate Machine (minus the words of course).

Ah yes, I see!

If I decided I wanted a NIN-related tattoo I'd drive myself insane thinking of what to get.. 'and all that could have been'?

a nin "inspired" tattoo would be cool. think of what a good artist could do with the becoming, or reptile. and no one except for you would know it's nin related (i.e you would be branded with a logo).
