Ok, after much hard work and help from other people (including an anonymous contributor and Nympholept who uploaded them for me), 4 new compilations will be available as torrents from next week, and via snail mail trades for any dial uppers like me in a fortnight or so...Anyway, there's still a little space left on each disk (about 25 minutes in total) for some extras, so if anyone has any requests for footage they'd like to see, please post them here. Requests noted and implemented, thanks to all those who requested stuff, i'll get around to the rest of them next batch.
------------------------------------------------

LIVE ESSENTIALS PART 2 - THE RARITIES

1. Lollopolooza footage 1991 -
Thanks to Slaytez for this. Different footage to what appears on the Closure leak, features Head like a hole (with Ice T on guitar) and a brief interview with TR. 10 minutes

2. Previously uncirculated shoot of the 7/11/05 - Manchester, UK show -
This has been spoken of before in the bootleg thread of the Tour News section in 2005, and i remember a few UK fans being anxious to get it... Apparently it has never been released, until now. It's incomplete, runs about 75 minutes. Nicely shot from the pit, some obstructions, very nice sound. Only source of this show available, supposedly. Released with the full permission of the filmer.

3. TR performing 'Suck' with Pigface -
Best quality version i've ever seen, as requested.

4. Previously uncirculated DV cam footage from the Melbourne 2005 Rod Laver Arena soundcheck. -
15 minutes in length, sound isn't great but definetly worth having, especially if you were there. Shot from up in the back somewhere... *NOTE: I DID NOT SHOOT THIS, SO PLEASE DON'T ASK FOR MASTER DV CLONES!*... You can see me and my better half down in front of the stage, so it would've been a bit hard for me to shoot it, eh? How it was shot, i do not know. This was sent to me unsolicited from a Mt Eliza address about 15 months ago. I still don't know who sent this to me, apparently i posted my old p.o box address somewhere on the forum and one day this popped up in it. The writing on the address form and the accompanying letter looks very feminine, so i'm presuming a female fan sent this. Whoever you are, obviously you lurk or are registered on this forum, so thank you very much. If you'd like to contact me i will promise not to reveal you as the sender. I'd like to thank Matt, Dave and Devon who have had this footage for awhile now and upheld their promises not to share it without asking. Cheers dudes.

5. Extras -

A few highlights from the 2005 tour DVD boots, including the "Something's gonna get BROKEN!" Philly HLAH and Reptile performances and the stage invader during Suck in Argentina.

INTERVIEW ESSENTIALS PART 2

1. Hard Copy 'Down in it' investigation-
Another request. Audio quality a little dodgy. Many thanks again to Slaytez for this footage. 10 minutes

2. Various MTV interviews from the 90's-
Various interviews and news stories that didn't make it onto part 1. Includes all the Kennedy interviews that heaps of people have asked for, Bowie/Trent 1995 interviews, Superock, Alternative Nation, 120 minutes with Lewis Sargent, etc... Props again to Slaytez for supplying the bulk of this footage. 80 minutes.

3. Japanese 'Garageheadz' interview/clips 2000 -
Very nice little special. 30 minutes.

INTERVIEW ESSENTIALS PART 3 + EXTRAS

1. BDO 2000 interview footage-
Channel V special that contains shortish portions of TR's interview with Jabba, and some funny quotes and comments by some Aussie bands that were on the bill about their rememberances of NIN. 5 minutes.

2. TR excerpts from the Johnny Cash tribute show-
Pretty old now, but i had a few requests for this to be added to the next interviews collection. For shits and giggles i included the STUNNING Sheryl Crow version of Hurt...BWAHAHAHAHA! 10 minutes

3. Summersonic Festival Japan 2005 interviews/clips-
Nice little special, 3 sets of interviews and clips. Features the only non web-streamed pro shot clips of ENTIRE songs from the 2005 tour (Head like a hole, Pinion, Wish and Hurt ) 30 minutes

4. Australian 'Rage' tv special from 2000-
TR introducing his fav clips and discussing some of his influences. The clips themselves are not included. A few people emailed and pm'd me requesting this, so i chucked it on, even though it's already on an earlier compilation i put out. Added at the last minute, not the greatest quality, but best i could find. *DISCLAIMER- Yes, he talks extensively about Public Enemy and A Tribe Called Quest, but this DOES NOT mean the new album will be hip hop!!!*...20 minutes.

5. Extra - 'Light Of Day' footage-
TR's infamous scenes from the movie. Again, very old, but requested by some newer fans. 5 minutes.

6. Extra - Eraser/Hurt screen projection footage from SD tour-
For those that weren't around at the time, in mid 2005 our friend Jose (aka Itouchedtrent_reznor, customersarefirst, etc) put his copy of these up for sale for a ridiculous amount on Ebay. I'd had these for a few years and sat on 'em, but released them for free when he started that crap. His copy had crappy audio, this copy has been resynced using the audio of TDS special edition. As requested, 10 minutes

7. Extra - Dallas 1990 pro shot show-
The same show currently on Youtube, renamed "hate 1990"...As requested, 40 minutes.

8. Extra - Mr Self Destruct live clip 1994 -
For some reason, a lot of you have been asking for live clips of MSD, so here's my fav from Nashville 1994.

MELODY MAKER MAGAZINE 1992 'BROKEN' PROMO TOUR AUDIO INTERVIEW, NEVER WENT TO PRINT

Live Essentials 3 is now up!

Details:

1. BDO 2000 - Best quality i've ever seen. Missing the first 10 seconds, but still 100% better than the shitty complete versions out there. 30 minutes

2. Alternative Nation Melbourne Australia 1995 - From master. Nice clean version, unreleased until 2005...Shot from the stands, so it's a little distant with no in your face close ups, but this is the only video that was shot during the ill fated Alternative Nation 95 festival, so it holds historical value. This was originally on Demonoid nearly 3 years ago, upped by Kleptonin, but has long since disappeared. 70 minutes

3. Reading 2007 - 20 min. pro-shot digital broadcast, courtesy of Alex of scotland

Many thanks to nympholept for uploading, and Alex of scotland for the Reading contribution

Well, time to clean out hard drive space again! With all the NIN stuff I have, and that is to come, I'm starting to get tempted to get an external hard drive or something.

In any case, thank you very much for this stuff!!

I don't have any requests, but I'd just like to say thank you and everyone else involved for making these kick ass compilation DVDs. I've always enjoyed the past DVDs that you made, and I'm sure it will be no different with these two. It's nice to see all this rare NIN footage that most of us wouldn't be able to see otherwise. Keep up the good work!

Ok, i've decided if there's no specific requests the extras will be a DVD audio (playable on all dvd players) transfer of highlights from a 1992 Spin interview, transferred from the interviewers original cassette. If there are requests, i might just release the whole interview on it's own disc...

Sounds good to me, especially if you can fit most or all of the interview. I'm not aware of the other dvds you've put out, are they still floating around?

Btw, this looks awesome,

Cheers!

Yes! That would be an amazing find. Any ideas if it was syndicated or where it originated? I work in tee-vee in Atlanta and have a few connections here and there.

I'm not sure. I'll do some checking myself. I used to watch that show everyday after school. It was on around 3 or 3:30pm on the USA Network. If I knew then, what I know now...

EDIT: Looks like all that footage may be owned by Omni 2000, Inc (www.omni2000.com). I'll shoot them an e-mail and see what I get back.

Does the interviews from MTV include when NIN were on, I think 120 minutes or alternative nation? Its the interview Kennedy did on the bed with the band?
Thanks

Yep, sure does.

Devon just gave me a great idea- i'm gonna include the Eraser/Hurt screen projections that i released on one of my earlier comps that Demonoid has now purged...

For those that weren't around at the time, in early 2005 our friend Jose (aka Itouchedtrent_reznor, customersarefirst, etc) put his copy of these up for sale for a riciculous amount on Ebay. I'd had these for a few years and sat on 'em, but released them for free when he started that crap. His had crappy audio, my copy has been resynced using the audio of TDS special edition.

Ok, i'll be releasing the Melody Maker 1992 interview as it's own disc then.

Fucking sweet! Thanks a ton eatyourblud!

Am I to understand that your other dvd comps are no longer around on Demonoid though?

This sounds god-damned cool as hell. Thanks!

I, just like some others here, would be grateful if some of you could create a torrent for the Vol 1 versions for all of us to check out. Please advise if this is possible!
