I would rather not of course, L o L, but if i had to i would. If i was capable of attending the Electric Picnic concert I would pay the 220 without any hesitance. Its freakin NIN!! Come on guys, if your capable of going, why would you want to miss out on seeing them.

electric picnic is a 3 day festival that features about 120 acts. that's why the tickets are €220. and to be honest, having not seen nin here for 13 years i would gladly pay €220 to see them. i have travelled all over europe to see them and spent thousands in the process. off to the 2 gigs in amsterdam on wednesday too. it'll be worth every penny.
and before you ask, i work my ass off in a crappy job that pays little more than minimum wage, i have a high rent bill, and we all know ireland is a very expensive place to live.
but if you want something bad enough, you work for it.
well said,
i just got back from the Manchester gigs
enjoy Amsterdam[/quote]
nice 1 man, i'm sure i will

not really.
oxegen is a piss up for GAA people thats why that sells out quick. mention any bands playing electric picnic and most will be "who??"
you stay in a tent, its a 3 day thing
GAA people? Where'd you get that from?
Going by some of the videos on YouTube last year, Oxegen is a festival for skangers and scumbags - that's something I wouldn't really associate with any sport in particular (although maybe certain sections of the Celtic soccer team fanbase in Ireland), certainly not GAA anyway.
that was probably a bit of a sweeping generalisation. just the view i've come across living in the midlands

Since the NIN European tour was first announced, I've checked the website every day. This is the first time that he has gone more than two days without updating his site, which leads me to think that he's obviously trying to sort something out before he updates the Irish fans of any rescheduling. Really I suppose the only thing we can do is wait for an uupdate and hope as hard as we can that Ireland does eventually get a show. And really, when push comes to shove, we'll pay whatever prices is necessary to see this genius of a musician grace us with his presence, whether its EP, FF or his own show. I seriously doubt that TR is going to leave us Irish fans high n dry after getting us so excited and buzzing. He must know by now how serious we are about getting him over here. Happy (belated) St. Patricks everyone!

Ticket Master says "PLEASE NOTE: THE NINE INCH NAILS WILL NOT BE APPEARING WITH THE FOO FIGHTERS AT MARLEY PARK."
Oh well, almost had someone convinced to make the trek to the other side of the pond and back to my homeland. Shucks.

You haven't lived until you've seen NIN at a festival.
Being surrounded by the biggest morons you've seen in your life, all wearing Rammstein t-shirts, 99.998% of them not even knowing who or what Nine inch nails are, loudly shouting and scream "booooooo" during hurt, and the rest of the concert for that matter.
Hahaha! Were you at Werchter 2005 too?
I'd gone essentially to see 'stein but when I saw the way all the "fans" were acting I conveniently "lost" my t-shirt.

I got an email saying I was getting my money back earlier. If MCD hadn't gone through with that, I'd be over in Dublin causing lots of house fires quicker than you could say "money-grabbing cunts".

It's officially not happening. Are those who bought tickets able to get refunds? Is there information out there about how to get a refund? Let us know and we'll consider posting yet another update about this affair on the Hotline.

After a couple of emails with Ticketmaster, they confirmed that they will be refunding my ticket. They stated they had to wait until there was official confirmation before refunding. Should not be a problem if you purchased through the NIN presale link. Just very glad to get the money back so I can spend it on something else!

Yeah there's no problem getting a refund, provided that you clicked on the NIN pre-sale. The customer service page that you must fill in is below

Takes a day or two to get your money back
