Opened with pilgrimage, but unfortunately no Mr. Self Destruct Sad
No Big comedown either Sad
Lots of video equipment for recording though, there was a crane operated camera.
will this be on the Closure DVD whenever the hell it actually gets released or a new DVD with just With_Teeth footage?
Trent hardly talked at all, except for the occasional thank you, but he had really great energy and put on another awesome show.
Aaron North jumped off down stage for a while, then it looked like he hit his face pretty hard on the stage when he came back up, but it didn't look like it phased him very much cause he got right back into rockin' out. The pit looked like it had some pretty good energy, I've seen better, but I've seen a whole lot worse.
It ranks 4th on my nin show experiences.

Amazing. Saul did a great set, wish I knew all of the names of things. I really have to get his CDs. He walked by the Spiral line before the show started and looked around casually to see who recognized him, haha. Amusing. About ten people cheered, then everyone else probably realized it was probably Saul and started cheering, I guess. It was humorous. Security were assholes and absolutely would not let a poster tube in.. It's a weapon! Although actual security in front of the stage didn't give a fuck what you did. As stated, cameras swinging on cranes, the front row had a camera run by them before the show started.. Great show. Setlist to the best of my memory, someone help me on this..

Pilgrimage
Love Is Not Enough
The Line Begins To Blur
You Know What You Are?
Sin
Terrible Lie
March of the Pigs
Gave Up
Burn
Something I Can Never Have
Eraser
Right Where It Belongs
Beside You In Time
Closer
With Teeth
Suck
Only
Every Day Is Exactly The Same
Even Deeper
Hurt
Hand That Feeds
Head Like a Hole

Something like that. Great show, my first time seeing them after wanting to for about 5 or 6 years. I'm more than happy.

Awesome show! Saul Williams was really good, and all of the people in my sections really enjoyed his performance. Great energy all around in my opinion.

Setlist as follows:

01 - Pilgrimage
02 - Love is not Enough
03 - You Know What You Are
04 - Sin
05 - Terrible Lie
06 - The Line Beings to Blur
07 - March of the Pigs
08 - Something I Can Never Have
09 - Closer (w/ The Only Time interlude)
10 - Burn
11 - Gave Up
12 - Eraser
13 - Right Where It Belongs
14 - Beside You In Time
15 - With Teeth
16 - Wish
17 - Only
18 - Every Day is Exactly the Same
19 - Even Deeper
20 - Suck
21 - Hurt
22 - The Hand That Feeds
23 - Head Like a Hole

The only part (that I heard) where Trent garbled the lyrics was in Something I can never have, on the line, "In this place it seems like such a shame." It came out "In this place it blah blah blah something or other," but other than that, it was a great, great, great performance. During Closer, Trent got up on the platform above Aaron and to the right (looking at the stage) of Josh.

It got started a little late due to something with the promoter (we were standing there for two hours when they decided to tease us by opening one of the doors, and promptly shutting it again.) The camera crane was all over the pit, so that should be some awesome footage.

Great show, imo. (Biased, tho, since it was my first nails show). I can't wait until Dallas. Smile

I was lucky enough to get there about 2 minutes before the Nails came out. I missed Saul due to class in Stillwater but it was nice avoiding all the traffic.

Gripes:
- Guitarist came in late on Sin twice, swinging the guitar wildly... sounded awful.
- Idiot Oklahomans cheering when Hitler... I mean Bush was on the screen, curious how many venues boo/cheer at that point...

Praises:
- March of the Pigs and Eraser both sounded great.
- I could make out the lyrics in the middle of With Teeth, sounded better live than the record track.
- Visual were a lot of fun to watch.

Neutral:
- Very little talking on Trent's part, from what I understand that is normal. Not that he was disconnected in any way; yet better than the crappy bands that say "this is like... the best crowd we have totally had, we like really love you guys"

Looking forward to seeing them again, hopefully in the pit rather than the in the stands, fans don't get into it as much up there...

FLAWLESS! Anyone who was not impressed with this performance has issues. The ONLY thing that could top it would be Tool.

The cranes were all over the place. Trent had a lot of energy and was really into it. Awsome set. Best concert i've seen so far.

p.s. - thankyou to the hot lesbians humping each other the whole show, it was surreal!

NIN DVD baby! How do you like that? Pretty cool to be there and be a part of it. Missed some of the show but managed to get there (car trouble) for Burn and the rest. Sounded great.....what's new (seen 'em twice before...both awesome). I like when AARON jumped around (he does the funniest dances) and the rest of the guys saw him....looked at eachother and then all started jumping up and down at the same time. Insane! Like, one big free for all freak out....with instruments on! One of my girlfriends that I came with couldn't stop talking about the camera that was swooping the stage and what a trip it would be to be actually INSIDE that thing looking around. Like...you were a human camera on a moving stand? I told her she should go back on her medication and shut the fuck up. BUt then she told me to chill out when I couldn't stop talking about the part where they all took a look around (especially ALESSANDRO).....nodded and then jumped all around. Awesome! I've never seen anything like it. Glad they got it on film. You have to check it out whenever it ends up being released. It was a FUCKING TRIP! I think JORDIE saw us at one point because he walked to the side of the stage during Head Llike a Hole and kinda nodded. I don't know why'd he recognize us...but he did. YOu gotta love him. He didn't NEED to recognize us....that is what makes that guy special. He acted like he'd known us FOREVER! I'll definitely see them this summer with Bauhaus. NIN!!!

My first NIN show was simply mindblowing!!! I could really feel Trent's energy and Aaron's crowd dive was one of many highlights! My girlfriend and I were in Section 116 Row L - great seats! Seeing the camera crane and the pit was sweet and Sin, Wish, and With Teeth were my top 3 favorites of the night.

All in all, an amazing night I will never forget, I loved every ear-pounding second!!! Saul's performance was very thought-provoking and cool. I almost feel guilty for having this AWESOME show to be my first with Nine Inch Nails. It makes me want to see them again and again....

Show was great. I was especially blown away by With Teeth and Even Deeper. Aaron's stage diving incident was during the 'all the pigs all lined up' breakdown. My only complaint about the show was the dumb bitch behind me (on the rail) who was talking during the whole Eraser-RWIB-BYIT video about how she wanted the screen up because the only reason she came to the show was because she thinks Trent is hot. Dumb whore.

I've been a NIN fan since Pretty Hate Machine and have wanted to see them live forever. Various circumstances have prevented me from ever going to see a show, but tonight I finally got the opportunity to see them, and I certainly was not disappointed.

Saul Williams - A short but excellent set, made me want to pick up his CD.

NIN put on a great show. Trent's energy was amazing. I don't know how he can keep that level for 2 hours straight. I don't know what was with people cheering when George Bush came on the projector. I was booing, but maybe people thought it would be rude to boo during a show? Anywya the set list was a perfect blend of the older stuff mixed with the new stuff. Since this was my first NIN show I have no other point of comparison but I will say this was the best concert I've ever been to although I am probably biased since I am a huge NIN fan. I took a bunch of pictures, but most of them came out blurry. Here's about the only decent one...damn shitty camera.

the show was absolutely awesome. i still don't think i can quite dissect it right now. the setlist was great. the only song i wish they would have played was tdtwwwa, but they played a lot of other songs that more than made up the lack of that song. i don't think people were actually 'cheering' for bush. i took it like people were just yelling, as in i 'yelled' but did not cheer. but it is oklahoma and hopefully if it was cheering, they'll do a little work on the dvd to make it look like that wasn't so Wink I have only two complaints for the evening and neither of them have to do with the performances. I was in the pit and got annoyed when some girl got on someone's shoulders at the beginning of the video scene. security had to go out and take her down, I assume it is because they were recording and she was right in the middle of it. also the swooping camera fell. i think someone pulled it down, but people quickly pushed it back up. really the show was amazing! just beautiful!

I don't know how to tell you idiots this (paticularly those not actually from Oklahoma, but just visiting): more than likely, it was sarcastic cheering. As in, "we're cheering because you had the balls to make fun of the President." It's the same reason the audience erupted when the baboon caught that waterfowl and ripped it apart--yay for something cool on the screen. If you're half in the bottle already, your initial instinct isn't to boo; it's to go "WOOOFUCKYEAH!"

On a side note, I was impressed with the warm reception Saul Williams got. I wasn't an avid fan of his stuff, but I still expected him to get a lukewarm reception at best. He was honest, intimate, and sharp as a tack. The crowd practically erupted during an extended string of "down with the man" lyrics.

I think Trent was so quiet due to the fact that the show was being filmed. It doesn't make sense to say "HOW'S IT GOIN' OKC?" when the DVD is marketed nationwide. We probably suffered a loss of intimacy as a result of that, but we have the satisfaction of potentially being the DVD crowd. Very Happy

Highlight of the night: Eraser. Easily.
Lowlight of the night: The guitar intro to Closer, or Sin. Aaron fucked up a bit on Sin.

I have pictures and video of HLAH. Both turned out well since I was in 115, row A seat 1.

If anyone recorded it, let me know and we can sync my video with your audio since my camera didnt handle the loudness very well.

Double agreed - the cheering at the "bush" dancing clip was totally meant in a sarcastic, we-agree-with-the-theme and all-things-pretty-in-the-world mental montage that scene was meant to evoke. Trust me if you weren't there - it wasn't "genuine" applause for dubya. Won't toil the setlist since it's already done masterfully in this thread. Best set of the night? Damn, that's a hard one. My vote gets tied for Eraser and You Know What You Are (just for Jerome's friggin' drums).

That said - the show was incredible - the body thumpers to the ballads to the lighting effects to the totality of the show - including the Aaron "trooper" pit dive - if he did bounce his noggin' getting back on stage, it sure didn't show. Great energy all the way around - from all cast members. How TR continues to pound out like that for two hours blurs my focus - many twenty-somethings don't have his energy and the guy is a lit fuse - at all times.

Although the OKC appearance is DVD-bound - and that fact caused a seeming detachment from the crowd (little to no personalization), look deeper and it was still an amazing performance. It's kinda neat to know that when the Closure DVD shows up - we'll all be part of it. The filming equipment was pretty stout - I'm sure it'll be an excellent-sounding and visually-stunning piece of work. Dammit - too many hyphens. I'm a punctuation beatch. Wanna piece a' me?

Had never heard Saul before - poignant lyrics and quite a nice opener. He's got it - NIN chose well to put his band in the opening rotations. Well done on his part.

My first NIN performance and certainly not my last. Jazzed, jarred, butt-checked AWESOME.

I saw you there...my wife, brother, and I were in 115 row C seats 1-3. I was surprised security didn't tell you to stop with the camera since there was a guard right in front of you.

Post some more pics or the video online.
