The AIM room "ChatNinFallTour" (CNFT) has been working hard tonight, keeping Ladyotms (who is at the show right now, seated next to Aaron's aunt) connected to the ETS community. She has taken some pictures on her cell phone and sent them to Kimma, who kindly uploaded it all for us.

To recap, we have three shots so far: one of the stage pre-show, and two of The Spiral's special venue entrance.

EDIT: Here's one of the curtain in front of the stage.

Queens of the Stone Age finished up a few moments ago, and as of 21:04 PST the crew is setting up for NIN. We will keep you updated as soon as the band start their set.

21:40 PST - They're playing "Love Is Not Enough".

22:23 PST - They had to stop playing because of a "medical emergency"... the curtain went back up.

A few songs spotted on the setlist (not all of these were played):
"Eraser"
"Deep"
"Only"
"Right Where It Belongs"
"Head Like A Hole"
A new one: "Not So Pretty Now" (unconfirmed title)

22:27 PST - Trent came back out. Apparently it was JEROME who stopped the show, as he "felt weird" and was found to be having "heart problems"! This is bad.

22:40 PST - They have had to cancel the rest of the show while Jerome is treated for chest pains and heart palpitations. I hope he gets better real soon, in the meantime let's send our positive thoughts and feelings to him.

22:42 PST - They mentioned something about them being "back in November."

Regarding being back in November: I just talked to a friend of mine who was there and she told me that Trent said they will be back on Nov. 20th and to hold on to your tickets or something like that. If I get more info, I'll post it, but I doubt I will talk to her anymore tonight.

Yep, I just got back from the show. The guy did indeed say Nov. 20. The band was really firing on all cylinders tonight. Out of the previous 3 times I've seen them live, Trent easily seemed to have the most energy I've seen him with onstage tonight. Aaron of course was all over the place, and Jeordie was really getting into it too. The lights during the show were amazing. Unfortunately, right before it got cancelled it seemed like they were going to be doing something really cool. The nets had been lowered again and images of what looked like components of cells were being projected on them. Then the bad news came Sad I hope that all is well with Jerome and they were just playing it safe.

being a longtime listener of nine inch nails, of course i was blown away by nin live; a totally different experience. tonight was no exception, they were amazing, and obviously pumped about this being the first show of the tour and everything. but about midway through, this screen came up and was showing some weird movie of a virus or cells reproducing when trent came out and said there was a medical emergency and they would be back in a few minutes. everyone was sitting in the dark for a bit; trent came out again and said "no bullshit, jerome came up to me and said his heart was going crazy, we really appreciate you guys being so patient, thank you." then another ten minutes went by and the house lights go up, and some promoter came out and said "jerome is with the emt's right now, and he's not going to be able to come back on, we will be back on november 20th, save your ticket stubs, they will be honored".

of course everyone is thinking about jerome, and hopefully he's alright. obviously, nine inch nails put on a great show, and the live version of closer kicks ass. the stuff from with teeth sounds very interesting live, much more in your face. anyway, hopefully someone can figure out what really happened and we can get a better picture of what was going on.

I myself was at tonight's show here in San Diego!
What was said about the show being stoped and ended early is 100% true.
I also heard that NIN would be returning back Nov. 20th.
Trent came out twice to gives us the heads up, then sadly a guy (I assume tour or management personel) came out to let us know that the concert would not continue.
One thing I can say is, at least Trent did come out and talk with the fans, told us what was up! That to me shows he cares about his fans.
It was fun for the short time that NIN got to play and may the injured NIN member get well soon.

Wow...So disappointing. An anxiety attack ended the show. At least I hope that was it. The set was fierce, and things were heating up as eraser started playing. It was starting to get good when all of a sudden the music just stops. Flat out cuts out. The rest is history. I hope they bring that energy back on the 20th...man...whatta disappointment

^ Yeah. We sat really close to the side, and we realized they had the set list taped on this box-thing, so we moved closer for a bit and copied it down. I hope the guy who took the pictures of it for us comes in here and posts it. We should have stolen one of the setlists, but the security wouldn't let us.

Ahh..this is all so sad...Jerome...Sad. I mean, the part of the concert we DID experience was AMAZING. I mean....everything was BEYOND spot-on and...not one wrong note. Trent's been working even harder on his singing. It was just amazing. I saw Rob filming, and waved to him! I saw him before it started, and then when we found out it was over I saw him filming a "reaction shot" of the crowd and everything.

Well, the upside to this is that the replace tour date for this show is only 7 days before my birthday. so that'll be cool.
nin dissapointment.

first off.. let me say that the spiral can suck my nuts. the ONLY benefit is getting tickets at face value, but even then you pay $60 on top for membership.. first off.. cool design for a t-shirt.. but the t-shirt itself couldn't be any cheaper.. ohh cool id card.. but it's just a piece of plastic.. and for the bullshit special early entrance.. wow!! I got in 2 minutes before every other person! how fucking gay was that?!

onto the show.. good opening band.. but who the fuck were they? shouldn't they have announced their name at least once?

QOTSA kicked ass! played really good.. I laughed my ass off when josh said, "we kick ass!!"

then NIN, ok.. maybe Trent is getting old.. but he did this bend over at the waist kinda head bang thing.. I dunno, it was creepy.. made him look odd.. the stage.. ok.. but nothing that would even touch fragility. and I love NIN as much as everyone else.. but hmmmm I dunno how to put it.. I mean they rock.. but they need to reinvent themselves somehow... maybe it's the new line up.. I dunno... just didn't have the spark as they used too.. this is my opinion of course. and no no no.. you cannot use wish as your second song!! that's a killer song.. one that should be used for near the end.. and is anyone else getting a little tired of terrible lie and closer.. come on Trent.. pick some new shit and make it more visually appealing. as far as JD.. I saw him sitting up being carried off on a stretcher being put in the ambulance.. he looked ok.. at least he wasn't strapped laying down.. Aaron went running after to the ambulance.. and they played for over an hour.. is that good enough to keep our money.. or will they come back? or did they just throw out NOV 20th so people wouldn't riot.. I find it a little hard to believe that they rescheduled a new date in about 10 minutes. it will remain to be see.. I’m out

I seriously doubt that when they come back they would only play the rest of the show. I like to think that when they come back they will play a new first half, then pick up where they left off. So in a way, we get a show and half, right? I'm trying to stay optimistic until we get more details.

The visuals at the beginning of Eraser looked amazing. The performance was nailed down pretty tight. I noticed Jerome started playing a little sloppy during Gave Up. I specifically remember that he continued playing the heavy beat over the quiet "I tried, and I gave up" section of the song for a few measures. He looked a little confused. The anouncer DID say 11/20 for those of you that kept your tickets.

Um...I'm pretty sure he did fuck up. No one knew what was going on, and it didn't sound right. I think it was a fuck up.

They fucked up nothing.

But, on to what really matters, I hope Jerome gets better. I was BEYOND dissapointed when eraser stopped and I was really looking forward to songs like "beside you in time," but I guess I'll just have to hope those are played later on.

information pertaining to the cancellation of any further shows would be appreciated and welcomed. those of you who know anything at all should post something here or at the hotline immediately. I have tickets for the Tucson show and have waited six years to see them live again, must know the info soon... or i'll explode.

There is nothing known yet except that Nov 20, they're playing in San Diego to make up for tonight.

UPDATE: nin.com now says that tomorrow's concert is canceled too.

PICTURES.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v696/ladyotms/P1010456.jpg when they first came out

Trent and Jeordie

kinda blurry, but more trent

Trent-tastic

Trent!

still blurry!

very blurry, but it's zoomed in to Trent, who was playing "The Frail" facing the oppisite direction from us. Yes.

more view of stage and Alessandro is kinda in it, too.

stage ness

last picture I got. It was when they were preparing for Eraser...this GIANT ASS like...SPEAKER-THING starts coming down and it had a bunch of squares on it. i couldn't tell if they were screens or lights or what? It was amazing, but I didn't get to find out what it was for! In this picture you can also see the smoke fog they put up there. woooo!

I'll upload the 2 short videos I have shortly, as well.

Wow ... that's bad. Hope Jerome is alright.

Here's an interestingly hypothetical scenario, though ...

So Jerome might not be able to play for part of the tour. In that case, Trent will need another drummer.

Manson just finished up his tour in August. Tweaker is currently doing nothing ...

... perhaps we could see the return of Chris Vrenna?

you know a certain drummer named Dave GROHL did help out on with teeth....hmmmmm.....heres hoping that it doesnt come to that and jerome is ok...

FYI Dave is currently touring with Foo Fighters, Lets give Jerome at least a day to recoup before replacing him in the line up

And here's the 2 videos I took. They're short, and they don't have sound. Sad . But it's something! it shows how immensely cool the lights were. Well, not even. But it gives you a taste.
