Let the hunt begin

Having seen most of the stuff when the 13gb version was available, I have to say I enjoyed the DVD version much more. Congrats to everyone involved in this.

Now, I will give away one easter egg. It's on the main menu. Press "Photo Slideshow" and either watch it in its entirety or skip it pressing the next chapter button on your remote / keyboard / DVD software GUI.

You'll be back to the main menu. Press RIGHT to make the cursor disappear and then ENTER.

In alternate visuals, go to right in The hand thah feeds, then Enter

found 6 egg so far... fun stuff. 1 stage tour 2 piggy alt visual test 3 great distroyer visual test 4 greater good visual test 5 me I'm not test 6 echoplex rehearsal [alternate arrangement ].... remaining 3 I have yet to find. encountered problem in pinkisthenewblog interview.. freezes up a couple minutes in. anybody else have this problem? haven't burned iso to disc yet, just mounted it on desktop.

For the record, there's a reaaaaaaaaal easy way to find all the extras...just not through their proper means of access. It almost feels like cheating - should I hold off on posting so people will have more time to explore?

If only we had spoiler tags on these forums. I suppose you could use bb codes to match the text to the backgroud color, although it does alternate between posts, the difference looks pretty subtle and you can probably just calculate which color the next post will be and if someone else happens to post before yours or you just get the color wrong you can always go back and edit your post.

That should probably suffice to allow those who want to find easter eggs for themselves or in the proper manner to ensure they don't accidentally see either the "easy way" or even any of the actual solutions if they don't want to.

This particular post used the background color #dfdfdf btw. It's the "warmer" colored white (more reddish), whereas #dee3e7 is the "cooler" colored white (bluish).

Speaking of easter eggs, just wondering if there are any on "The Gift" or on BYIT? Maybe there should be a seperate thread for easter eggs for all of the NIN Dvds so they can all be listed in one place... Just a suggestion.

I don't think I saw this in the raw files folder (and I'm pretty sure it's not on the YouTube playlist) but is the Apple Mainstage video in the extras? I actually have a .mov file on my computer that I think I somehow managed to rip off the site. I figured somebody on the project would manage to get it in any case and included it on the bonus DVD. It seemed like the perfect compliment to the MomentFactory doc since it covers the audio production side of things.

If you're looking for the full track...I don't think that was done. There's a full version on youtube, but it's not the same as this one. And not nearly as good.
