Yus please! And I will edit the hotline post with your scans if that's ok with you?

Go ahead.
Scans are 1:1 .jpg, and I apologise for the blurring on the last page, it was either that or a snapped spine.

And there are also two full page shots of Mr. Reznor, which I'll do once I've made a sammich.

Icarus_ks posted links to the whole photoshoot on ninspotting (here), so unless someone wants the two shots in A4 size (both are cropped from original on that site, one has an annotation with a little quote from TR about piracy), I'll leave the upload for now.

I wonder what the poppier parts of With Teeth that he would leave off if it were released now are?

When TR talked about the album back in 2005, he mentioned how those "outsiders' opinions" reminded him that for real hit-potential, songs need a strong musical bridge between verse and chorus. Seeing as how there are almost no bridges (ie song sections that are neither verse nor chorus) on Year Zero... I'd guess it would be all those rhyme-y bridge bits.

"Now I just stare into the sun and I see everything I've done" etc. isn't even listed on the lyrics poster, so it could have been a last-minute addition. Maybe "so naïeve to keep holding on to what I want to believe", too. "Remember where you came from, remember what you are"? "Every last one, every last one, every last one"? Those are actually my favourite parts of the album.

I'd guess it's Every day is exactly the same. Wasn't that song supposed to be called My dead friend, btw? Plus, it did make it big on the radio.

Supposedly, My Dead Friend was a working title for Beside You In Time.

My Dead Friend is an unknown track. With Teeth has a fuckload of them.

Just because they are popular and I was bored, I listened to Green Day's new song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pvtz8P0AMHg

It starts with drums that reeeally remind me of the start of 1,000,000. I don't know anything about the technical side of music but it sounds so similar I just had to post it.

Like message to no one and shit like that?

I don't think theres a shit ton of material unreleased, I think like Trent said, it's either not finished, or not good.

Yeah, what he said about Manson, unfortunately, is true but at least he wants him to get his shit together.

At least Trent's got his shit together and is having a good time.

He deserves a break. I wouldn't mind waiting a few years for a new NIN record and a tour in 7 years at the most.

I need to get this article for collective reasons Smile

Thanking you!

Actually, thanks doubly, because I got a bunch of emails last night from people saying "why don't you post the hi-res versions [to the hotline]?" duuuuuhh...

Good to know that he isn't gone for good. I was scared there for a moment. Can't for this alleged album to be out in a couple years time. =D

I actually WANT the next one to take a long time. All this stuff that TR has done for us over the last 2 years has been totally overwelming, for my ears, hard drive, AND wallet. I just want him to have some time off and have time to work on a real, thought-out album.

But do I regret any of it? Hell no!

Yeah, it's VERY similar to the live version. Jumped a little while driving when I heard it, only to be completely disappointed.
