Ghosts 37 is out. Ghosts 38 is 32% uploaded.

As soon as this one is uploaded I've got to get in my car and head out to Hollywood!

Wish I could load it into my bigger Pro Tools system. But hopefully someone will load these and bounce them down to a 320 kbps mp3 I can listen to when I get back!

EDIT:

Here's the Ghosts 38 Multitrack:

Mine sounds different and is longer, but Xvostya's is probably more correct than mine because Ableton gets notoriously difficult if you throw a lot of wav files at one time in there. It's also louder, and LOUDNESS WARS FTW.

I'm uploading it anyway because eh, it's worth listening too even if it's wrong.

Yeah, make sure normalize isn't turned on in Acid. If it has that function.

Also, check your sample rates. The .wav files are 44.1.

Make sure the heads of each file line up correctly.

The .midi file has markers so you can see if things line up correctly.

Thanks guys!

to me the more the better and I think it's amazing that we don't actually know how it should sound so there could be multiple versions

I found this really interesting myself. Due to the nature of the album, they both sound correct, and I can't even tell any real differences between the two by ear.

In fact, looking at the waveforms of the two:

They look almost identical (only real differences being amplitude and a bit of silence at the start) there too! But where did this extra 20 seconds come from? Which part of the song is it in?

edit: I forgot to thank you, modul8or. It's appreciated!

Wow, just got home to find this thread. Ghosts 37 is incredible...and a little eerie too. Thanks to those who have uploaded MP3s etc., much appreciated. Reznor never ceases to surprise us with little gifts.

VVV And he's right on the clipping and such, but they sound pretty good to me being done as quickly as they were.

Looking at the waveforms I can tell you that the first one is obviously clipping while the other one isn't normalized.

Well, blates. Blame Trent, I didn't fiddle with the volume. The second one isn't normalized in that picture, because I fiddled with that, because on it's original shape it was almost flat.

I'm lovin ghosts 37. I can see why it was left off though. it just doesn't flow with the rest of the tracks. It's really cool though. It reminds me of something that would have been released in the Downward Spiral era. thanks for those of you who upped. HUGZ!

Gotcha, I'm gonna fiddle with it myself and see what I can come up with.
