Ipecac Records is supposed to do a Reddit AMA tomorrow. I wonder if all the FNM/Bungle reunion questions will be like Trent Reznor and the usual Tapeworm & Manson questions.

So the takeaway from the Reddit AMA
- the FNM reunion is just the 1 show
- Patton is busy working on unnamed stuff
- there will be more Fantomas. When that happens is unsure, although they are looking to reissue the albums in vinyl with some sort of bonus
- Crudo and Nevermen are in limbo, with different collaborators/labels
^deserved and realistic...
Phil Anselmo is in the top 10 now? PanterA and Down are 2 of my all time favorite bands but....uhhhh.....no. He churned out some high notes on Power Metal and CFH but these days not so much.
Well to be fair, his voice is unique. When you hear him you know its Phil.
i think that simply looking at vocal range is a bullshit way of measuring something like that, which is why mike patton's versatility and catalog of interesting accomplishments makes a bigger difference than just his range. it takes more than being able to hit low notes & high notes to be a good singer (axl rose being a great example of what i mean, since his voice is terrible, despite his impressive range). the fact that freddie mercury got bumped way down just because of slightly less range is also bullshit. that man is a FANTASTIC singer. just because he can't go quite as high or low as some other vocalists doesn't make him a worse vocalist.
^I agree that there are singers that make "more" with "less" and in my opinion that's what makes them great, the other are "technicalities" that don't define many others aspects of them as their showmanship, versatility and songwriting skills...
Still i do think Patton would end up in the "first places" anyway, since the guy is so talented and versatile (and a monster of a singer...)
Faith No More has an official twitter now, and their first tweet has me insanely excited.

^Cool! i've always wanted a follow-up for "Album of the year", they should go for one more album, i do believe they have plenty left to say...
That tweet seems optimistic. Hopefully they stick together
And it seems Faith No More is kinda definitely back!
They played three new songs this past weekend in two european concerts ( at London, where they dressed up as exorcists and shouted lines from the same-titled movie beween songs, and Poland ): previously played "Matador", and debuted "Superhero" and "Motherfucker".
Videos and lyrics can be found here.

Yes they were good at Hyde Park dressed as priests, but the set was far too short at under a hour.
Been revisiting my Faith No More albums. The cassette of Angel Dust was the first hard rock album I bought.

This is exciting, I was lucky enough to see FNM in the early nineties. Would be in a best concerts list for sure
Damn the Motherfucker song is stuck in my head now!
Someone help me find my sphincter.
New tunes.

Is 2015 the year that the FNM reunion comes full circle with a new album? They were announced as one of the headliners for the Soundwave festival yesterday and tweeted this:
"The Reunion Tour is over; in 2015 things are going to change."
Safe to say that if a new album happens (which is looking very likely) then a world tour will follow. Absolutely cracking news, I would love to see FNM when they roll round the UK again.
Fuck YES YES YES
Can't fucking wait!
This is going to be the greatest thing ever!
Hell yeah madafakaaaa!
Awesome news and yet April 2015 seems so far away.
