Clarkson also punched Piers Morgan but noone anywhere had a problem with that - and in typical Piers Morgan fashion he has to get in on the act

Jeez. I think the moral of these two stories is that middle aged celebrity men with stupid frizzy hair are menaces to society.

The reason why it's so different with Clarkson this time around is that it's a workplace issue, and therefore the BBC and their HR department have to follow a protocol. Particularly if, as has been said by some sources, he was already on a final written warning.

    Especially when they're having a mid-life crisis

I never thought I'd say this, but I kind of hope the show goes away, with the hope that James May can continue to do awesome programs like Toy Stories.

So is this thread for Top Gear or the still as unnamed show with Clarkson, May and Hammond?

It can be both, but I'm not interested at all in the new TG.

So, here it is, new Top Gear. It is similar and by no means bad, but I am thinking my problem is that I don't believe these presenters are really that silly to do some of the silly things, but I believed the original three. :-)

Can't recommend highly enough to watch James May's Cars of the People. His Toy Stories specials too.
