yeah, but i wish my pressing wasn't fucked up. the surface noise on side B was almost unbearable. i actually went to their bandcamp and "sent them a message" to let them know/ask if they've been hearing from other people, or if it's unique to my copy. :|

    just arrived this afternoon:

godspeed you black emperor - asunder sweet and other distress

Figures. I actually wondered how the pressing would sound. The album is really great and all, but some of the dynamics in the mixing are pretty wonky. I had a hunch it could end up sounding as awful as that last Cloud Nothings album, in terms of pressing quality. Hopefully you just got a bum copy though.

No insert and the jacket is pretty flimsy. I will say that they did a good job of sourcing the artwork since its not blurry at all and the record labels are the clearest I've ever seen on a bootleg.....

If you're ever in Madison, WI please check them out - Independently owned and operated for decades. Steven Price - Fury
    Temples - Mesmerize Live
V/A - The Darjeeling Limited Soundtrack
Oneohtrix Point Never - Commissions II
    AIR - Playground Love
    Jon Hopkins - I Remember

Current top sellers on the site! Crazy how they've suddenly popped up, not complaining as I've been after those two for years :-)

    Thanks for heads up! :-)

Thankyou so much! I have Inception already but desperately wanted The Dark Knight!!

Edit: I'm tired. I have Interstellar, not Inception. I have ordered Inception & The Dark Knight. Just need Batman Begins and I have the Dark Knight trilogy on vinyl

I'm so pumped to get that Inception, that score is is fun to listen to. The Dark Knight has one of the coolest cover arts I've ever seen. Next week cannot come soon enough for me. They keep going up in price; I've noticed. When I got mine Inception was $17 and The Dark Knight was $24.

Hopefully the new pressing of Inception sounds better than the first. My OG copy I have is plagued with endless amounts of excruciating surface noise.

RSD haul was small this year (many things I wanted weren't there, bloody queue. And let me bitch that The Zombies' RIP was America-only - why the FUCK is a British band's album exclusive the US?!)

IGGY POP - SHOT MYSELF UP (Live album on translucent green with bonus 7")
THE WEDDING PRESENT - TAKE FOUNTAIN (first time the album has been pressed to vinyl)
SIOUXSIE AND THE BANSHEES - JOIN HANDS (with original intended art and tracklisting)
THE ANIMALS - WE'RE GONNA HOWL TONIGHT (nothing special really, but it's nice to be in mono)

and if I'm lucky a friend might grab me the Stan Getz 10"

Nabbed Garbage, Florence & The Machine, and The Devil Wears Prada. My buddy was able to pick up the Every Time I Die release for me from their show in Cincy last night because it wasn't released in my area. Pretty stoked.

Edit: Just got Thrice's "Vheissu" and Anaal Nathrakh' "In the Constellation of the Black Widow" at good discounts.

I really wanted the Jon Hopkins 10". My man at the record shop hadn't received the delivery containing it so has taken payment ahead of it arriving this week. Badly want it tho! Also I'd not realised that the Temples US release is different to the UK one. I was the only person who'd included Temples on their wishlist and was about 8th in the queue but still missed out on the one copy my guy got in for me!

This was the first year I didn't stand in line super early since RSD became a thing. The list was just so underwhelming this year. I did manage to still show up and snag the one item I really wanted, and I'm really happy about that.

I still don't understand why this album wasn't released like this to begin with, instead of that hideous cover they mucked it up with last year.

Lol, got it too, my only luck, they pressed quite a bit of them so they still had some around noon here.
