Jukebox for 45's?

I might try selling off a bunch of vinyl to finance some other things. Got a lot of white stripes 7 inches unopened that might be worth a bob or two if I'm lucky. Maybe I should let the fragile go too.

Jukebox for 45's?

I have a dream to get a jukebox someday. It seems like the best, coolest way to listen a big collection of 45s! Maybe I'm just lazy, but staring at the record player for 3ish minutes then having to flip it so quickly is tedious. And yet I continue to buy them...sigh.

the problem with jukeboxes is the way they stack/store the records. it's terrible for them, especially the older ones that just drop a record on top of the stack while it's still spinning. :: cringe :: it's a great way to damage the hell out of your collection.

Verry True. I didn't really think about that. I will probably buy one at some point, and simply run RCAs out to my receiver. Also, I know this is the vinyl thread, but I just got a dual tape deck, so now I can check out all my tapes, see if theres an crazy sound quality difference between all the different pressings / see if I have any miss presses.

i still have a yamaha professional (single) tape deck as part of my stereo.

Man, that hurts me to just think about that!

Fortunately there are jukeboxes that I've seen where each record is held in its own slot and grabbed by tong-like hands and put on the table, then taken away and filed in its correct spot. How it stores them while not in use is definitely a deciding factor when the time comes to get one!

No problem! The price is bit steep for a single disc pressing with a simple foil stamp, but I figure it's worth it in the end instead of trying to track down one of the Hot Topic exclusives and waiting for the production delay on the standard retail version.

Finally received this today after a lengthy wait, Massive Attack's Robert Del Naja and Elbow's Guy Garvey's Battle Box 001 white vinyl 12incher. Sadly this was not one of the 30 hand drawn covers by Del Naja, but a nice slab of 180g wax nonetheless.

I went ahead and purchased one too. Does this come along with any casing at all? I know 30 people are receiving the special edition one but other than that, do we get a simple black sleeve?

The TDS records are just collector pieces and never get played so I don't really care about putting them wherever

Also, I bought something from the vinyl factory, and that very second I got a charge from barnes and noble for something for 21.00 extra dollars. I called Barnes and Noble's and The lady advised me that I bought a book for 21 dollars and it was getting sent to arkansas and I live in California. I never shop at Barnes and Noble ever. It was very weird, the second after the purchase I made at the vinyl factory I got this charge. Is the vinyl Factory reputable? I thought it was.

HOLY CRAP RDM, how much did you pay for that receiver? There's one on eBay right now for a buttload of money.

It was 750 total and 415 for speakers and holy crap the massive attack vinyl is the best vinyl blew my mind . I'm so happy right now. It's amazing how much power this thing has. I had no idea massive attack vinyls sounded this good though .
