Been on a paleo diet for 5 days now. No sugar, no potatoes, no grain, no alcohol. I'm not craving sugar as much as I thought I would. We shall see if I can make it the full six weeks.

I'm trying this currently as well. It's not super hard but I did relapse and eat something I shouldn't have last night. I'm going to try to get through 30 days starting again today. I did it a few months ago and really enjoyed it (lost a few pounds, felt good in health).

Just snatched up 5 meters of blue LEDs* and a power supply off eBay for about $6, my super awesome infinity mirror desk is 1 step closer to completion! Mine's not nearly as nice as that guys though, this is kind of a cheap test run. If it turns out well enough I plan to improve my handiwork skills and build a nice one with actual half-toned glass. I'm probably just going to get a sheet of plexiglass from Home Depot or something for this build, it's like 10x cheaper. Plus, I stupidly built the frame and then set in the mirror as opposed to building around it, while also ignoring the age-old rule of "measure twice, cut once", so I have a little bit of a gap between the frame and mirror. Still, I'm excited! I've never actually built anything before other than paintball bunkers & treeforts that were far more dangerous than you could imagine.

*I got blue LEDs instead of controllable RGB because A) costs way less & B) the backlight LEDs in my speakers, keyboard, and mouse are all blue as well, and the only one that's changeable is my keyboard.

A combination of my three current favourite drugs (exercise, therapy and caffeine) has left me with a bizarre, super positive high this afternoon. Haven't felt like this in ages - I'm not even stressed about my exam tomorrow. Oh and also the welcome picture when you come to ETS made me smile.

Watching my shithead neighbour be evicted today has made my week.
The inconsiderate cunt won't be missed. Trouble is, in the shithole area that I live in, it won't be long before another inconsiderate bell end moves in to replace him.
    Happy shitting days.

I don't you have to start all over again. Just forgive yourself for the lapse and continue.. I'm doing this as a part of a larger life style challenge with the Crossfit I go to: a point for diet, a point for workout, a point for sleep, a point for mobility (stretching) every day, a point for 10 minute meditation. I DQ'd the entire day yesterday, but I'm just going to jump back on tomorrow.

Watching my roommate play Skyrim. He just discovered it, and he's addicted. And the other one's giving him SO MUCH SHIT. "Hunting dragons? Nerrrd! NEERRRRRRRD! KILL THAT CHICKEN, NERRRD!"

And we have a batch of vodka gummy bears in the fridge. Commence to drunkening and Mario Kart.

Fuck, I'm glad I got awesome roommates.

Got my krunk on last night at the gay bar with some of my best friends. I really had forgotten how awesome it was to get wasted and dance like nobody's watching

This brought a big smile to my face. You all must be good mates because I can picture this scenario exactly, and it makes me feel happy.

Awesome! Similar situation here; my 3rd roommate got back into town today and we made an EPIC taco bar - steak, chicken, beef with all the fixin's, watched some sports and shot the shit...

Oh, and homemade (tear and bake) chocolate chip cookies for dessert...mmmmmmMMMMMmmmm

It dawned on me today that the premier health-food store here is surrounded on one side by a meat market and on the other side by a (particularly aromatic) barbeque joint. Did they piss off the site developer or a Higher Power?

Mmm, this. If I hadn't already dedicated my afternoon to drinking an entire carton of apple juice I'd bring on the tea. Maybe this evening...

Love it because it's the only tea (besides English Breakfast) that stands up to lemon and sugar.

Finally home after spending 11 days in the hospital. Plus the bonus of being able to eat and drink real food.
