I have very low expectations, so it looks better than I expected
This looks pretty funny.
Finally something I'm actually looking forward to seeing in 3D.

Wow. Rumors flying, and coming from Latino Review...which prides itself on not spreading bullshit...
WB and the Wachowskis are potentially working on a new Matrix trilogy.
I'll kinda Matrixed-out at this point. But another Animatrix, that I would be down for.
I would be SO DOWN for this. I'd rather have The Matrix live on in little stories told through animated shorts (or I suppose even live-action shorts?) than in a whole new trilogy. But who knows, I'll see where that goes before I pass judgement.
Fuck, now do I go to bed or stay up watching The Animatrix??
I thought Revolutions was a perfect end to that story personally, though I seem to be the only one who thinks so.
Am I the only one who watched the Oscars? I hope not because I need someone to tell me what song was playing during the In Memoriam segment. I know that song, I know it. It's going to drive me crazy until I remember where else I heard it.
It was a weird show. Ellen did what she could, thank God she can improvise. My favorite moment was Bill Murray's homage to Harold Ramis. My favorite crazy bastard McConaughey won; so did Jared Leto.
Jared Leto is an Academy Award winning actor. I'm trying very hard to wrap my mind around this idea. Oh well; who said the Oscars are supposed to make sense?
I'm annoyed that Her's score got snubbed in favor of Gravity's, but the results otherwise were fine. I'm particularly pleased that Frozen took home two statues.
I watched!
It was pretty entertaining. Very happy to see "12 Years a Slave" win the big one - probably my favorite movie of the year.
I was honestly a little unsettled to see "The Act of Killing" lose Best Documentary however. I wouldn't call it entertaining, but that's because it completely transcends film. I've never seen anything like it. I'd liken its most affecting scenes to the moment in Breaking Bad where Pinkman talks about killing a 'problem dog' - except multiplied by a thousand, and in the context of non-fiction and a society that doesn't just provide impunity for its killers, but celebrates them.
For those of you familiar with Film Crit Hulk, he described its importance quite well in this essay.
Yes, of course! Thank you so much. And it was the picture they showed for Richard Matheson and I thought "huh? I'm not sure that many people remember that Matheson wrote the novel that became that movie!". I love Somewhere in Time, by the way. It's one of the very few, very very few romantic movies I love.
And I'm getting used to Academy Award winner Jared Leto. It's nothing against him, by the way. I know he's a good actor (he's the only valid reason to suffer through Oliver Stone's Alexander). I like him. It's just that I (and I suspect many others) would have expected a lot of other actors to get that stupid naked guy before him. Such is life.
Also: the greatest thing about last night's show was this:
God bless you, guy with the impossible name who plays Sherlock.
Woah, I missed this news a week ago:
Ennis and Dillon's "Preacher" officially a go on AMC!
Let the casting speculation COMMENCE!
For anyone that loved the Street Fighter games and wondered why the film sucked, here's a great article about everything that went wrong during the production: http://www.polygon.com/features/2014...hat-went-wrong
Anyone else see that trailer for ENEMY starring Jake Gyllenhall and Jake Gyllenhal? I thought it looked like a stupid movie but it is getting pretty good reviews. Who knows> Not me obviously. I dont know nothin.
This is a real movie. Like, somebody looked at this script and this idea and thought it would be a good idea, and that many people would pay money to see it.
Fox says a new Ridley Scott movie is coming on March 4th, 2016 - I really want it to be a Prometheus sequel, but I think that's a long shot. Then again, I just found this article which cites a lot of small bits of progress from the last year or so that I forgot about... so, now I'm feeling optimistic
Wasn't Ridley making Blade Runner 2?
