balls. i was getting really excited.

my only requests for beetlejuice 2 are:
    1. bring back ve neill to do the makeup. she's a fucking wizard and i've missed her working on tim burton's films. plus maybe it'll get winona to be a guest judge on face off!!!
    2. NO CGI. jesus christ, burton has become SO reliant on CGI instead of utilizing his old go-to of claymation. i know it's more expensive, but the practical effects lend so much more to the immersion into his world. and the way they used it in beetlejuice originally was so beautiful. i don't want to see a god damn CGI sand worm, man!

I would've gone with 'Indiana Jones and the Generic Internet Joke About His Age' but that's a bit long.

Instead, I'd say maybe 'Indiana Jones and the.....the uhh....shit, what was it.'

Can we just say that this is the fourth Indy film and that Crystal Skull never existed? I'm still not over how bad it was.

I can think of a million reasons this movie could go poorly but hopefully if a reboot is inevitable (I'm sick of people saying Chris Pratt is a good fill-in for Ford, but if he has to be it this would work well) that they have Chris Pratt play a protege in the fifth and allow for him to take the reigns in his own films, as a different character, that way not having inconsisistencies between performances of Ford and Pratt.

I just hope Ford is still viable as a performer and manages to avoid any injury in the making without the end result suffering. A really distracting element of Crystal Skull, all other flaws aside, is how frequently you see Ford swapped out by a stunt double and CGI. Almost any shot that wasn't a close-up of his face seemed fake.

Oh well, these kinds of milkings of a franchise are inevitable. Hopefully they can just be decent and not a total mistake this time.

David Fincher's next show Mindhunter will be co produced by Charlize Theron and will debut on Netflix. Seems pretty rad.

Yep, i don't normally go for comedies, but that sausage party trailer had me laughing my ass off.
I don't think anyone's done anything quite like this.

Does this mean he might do any contributions for Terrence Malick's next film or anything by Christopher Nolan that isn't a superhero film?

Bill & Ted 3 is finally headed to production (you know, under the assumption that the world actually wanted it).

Alex Winter: "We've been working on it for like, six years. We're knee deep in the script, it's been written by Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon, who wrote the first two...they're fantastic writers, and the script is great. We have a script, we have a director, we have a studio - we're just trying to nail down a start date. Hopefully the end of 2016 or early 2017."

When asked if Keanu Reeves was onboard: "How the fuck would we make it if he wasn't? People always ask if Keanu is doing it and I'm like 'No, I'm making a Bill movie.' Of course he's in it. I can't make it without Keanu."

I want this, but I'm surprised it's happening. I thought I remember reading Keanu was embarrassed by both films?

Sorry to double post, but new footage from the new Japanese Godzilla movie called Godzilla Resurgence is now online.

I like how Godzilla looks. He looks finally looks disturbing again. My only issue is the tail being too long. I'm pretty confident in this movie because it's directed by Hideaki Anno.
