    I am digging their new material so far, and as it happens they're soon playing within the very small radius of venues that I'm willing to go see anything any more... So I'm psyched to see them again.

    They're playing with a band called Glixen, and I've checked them out to see if I want to come early... They're really amazing, just one EP, but every track is super good. Very excited for this show.

    newly unearthed Brian Jonestown Massacre demo tape from 1993. I don't think any of these songs were ever released. some awesome shoegaze on it. here's a few tracks. the 3rd one sounds like it's fit right in on "Loveless"

    here's a good weekend listen: listen to the compilation "Southeast of Saturn" on streaming services. Obscure 90's shoe gaze from 90's Detroit bands. each track is a different band. The compilation is SO GOOD.
