Shitty Music. (The Nickelback Thread)

My gf is into music that I can best describe as chill folk blues sorta soul, I am able to enjoy it as well, but most of the male singers have this same style of singing that drives me up the wall. The sounds they make are not unlike those of a wounded dog, and they annunciate all their words like they have marbles in their mouths. So many in that style of music sing like that, almost like the folk version of the 90's Eddie Vedder voice. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

The song is very forgettable and generic, like pretty much every Godsmack release. I'm from the Boston area and WAAF used to play the heck out of these guys and thought they were the new Led Zeppelin.

I stopped listening to modern rock around 2000 or so. Godsmack, Disturbed, Stained, etc. Didn't care for any of it. I mostly listen to rock from the mid-to-late 60s to the mid-to-late 90s.
