Compared to Ray of Light and Music, Confessions is a weak album (I like Confessions, but I find myself skipping some songs from Confessions), Hard Candy was an improvement over Confessions (and American Life was just forgettable). Yes, she's been doing EDM since 1998 but that Nicky Minaj song is UNLISTENABLE. Shit man...someone close to her should do an intervention or something. Like someone above said, she's trying too hard to sound hip. Ray of Light was AMAZING, and it seemed like the right step for her career at the time, Music was a strong follow-up, but things have been slowly declining since then. MDNA and Rebel Heart have been such a waste.

I think it's just personal preference, because I don't skip anything on Confessions but I really don't like Hard Candy at all, and she's had some crappy production input ever since. (I'm looking at you, Diplo.)

For me the Bedtime Stories/Ray of Light/Music run is great.

"Ray on Light" is her last great album, great production, honest and interesting songs and she sings in a way she never sang again.
I don't feel anything for "Confessions" or any of the recent albums, i know they probably sold (and will sell) better than "Ray of Light", but in my opinion that album is miles away from her EDM stuff (more honest too..)

Minus Justify My Love, I always thought Madonna was overrated and past her prime (now).

I read on the A/V Club yesterday that Uncle Kracker, Mark McGrath of Sugar Ray, and some dude from Better than Ezra are forming a supergroup. Here's their new song:

    no. fucking. way.
    I can't even process this.

I literally couldn't make it through more than ten seconds of that song. I'll try again later.

10 seconds.... I only lasted 20 seconds of it. It is so fucking awful. How did Uncle Krackhead even have a singing career? I swear, his face and voice makes me want to kill him.

Wow this is like a parody of the worst bro-rock imaginable. Except it's not a parody.

Shouldn’t Chad Kroeger and Kid Rock have gotten in on this? I’m just a little bit offended that they aren’t on this track! This track is a lie without them, a poser!

Falcon Heene! I remember that dumb little kid with his puking on TV. His father has an out of control ego and is a massive narcissist. It's hilarious. No doubt he's the mastermind and the "manager" for this mess I just heard.

    remember Owl City?

Still... I'm speechless at that second song, "Unbelievable." The title of the track doesn't even begin to explain how much I'm offended by how anemic and shitty this emotionless ode to childhood is.... It's honestly like they gave up pretending it wasn't a joke, and Owl City made an album full of music suitable for nobody over the age of 7. It is literally toddler music, and I would love to meet an adult (besides Adam Young) who actually wants to listen to this.

Owl City is fucking crap. It's like indie music gone mainstream pop. I don't think indie exists anymore.

And at the exact same rate as their music.
